One of the worst years for actresses in Bollywood history?

Hardly any decent performances so far. Even in the biggest of hits like Chhichhore, Kesari, saaho, DreamGirl,Kabir Singh, Uri and Bharat, the female lead either had nothing to do or was barely competent. Only in Mission Mangal we had the reverse effect, with Vidya Balan shining all the way through.

Then again, underwhelming performances of solo-lead movies of Sonam, Kangana and Sonakshi at the box-office.

Overall, in terms of ACTING, with the exception of Vidya Balan, Kangana and Taapsee, no-one has left a mark. I've heard good things about Shwetha Basu Prasad in Tashkent Files as well. Rest, no-one has managed to impress.
