What happened to Sonam's star power?

Even sonam haters would have never expected this film to get beaten by a newcomer starrer and a film with zero promotion(Sanjay dutt film) . Do u feel sonam is just a media made A lister ?

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Prassthanam and The Zoya Factor were pretty much flat with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas having the best collections and the best growth but the growth was hardly 30% on day two. The film has collected around 2.75 crore nett in two days.

Prassthanam is next best with collections of 1.70 crore nett in two days while the Zoya Factor is worst of the lot with 1.50 crore nett in two days. This film could not even grow much on Saturday despite being a film for metro multiplexes. The collections of the three new releases are as follows.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas

Friday - 1,20,00,000

Saturday - 1,55,00,000

TOTAL - 2,75,00,000

Prassthanam

Friday - 80,00,000

Saturday - 90,00,000

Total - 1,70,00,000

The Zoya Factor

Friday - 70,00,000

Saturday - 80,00,000

TOTAL - 1,50,00,000

Zoya factor's trailer was played in the theatre today when I went to watch Dream Girl. It is hard to even listen to one dialogue by Sonam Kapoor and not cringe at it. So I can understand these numbers.

The collections should have been in the range of thousands. With tea spoon of acting range she has, she should be happy that few people are still spending money on her films.

She never had any star power or fans like her contemporaries bt I love her movies, she has good screen presence n chemistry with all her Co stars... I consider her an A lister bcoz of the movies she does where has good screen space just like the male lead, she doesn't do flower pot role.

They must have realised she is all talk and no work from ELKDTAL

One should have talent or star power. Sonam has neither 😆

She never had a box office pull and she does films where she has prominent roles because her Dad and sister make those films for her. And all thanks to these spoon fed movies she has stopped putting whatever little effort she used to put earlier in her 'acting'.

She never had any star power and an awful,awful actor......only survived coz of her dad's production house and her dad's connections ofcourse ....even Zoya Factor she got coz the co producers are her family friends -the Shetty sisters ...got signed for Neerja coz Atul Kasbekar is a family friend....her getting films annoys me more than Abhishek.... Abhishek atleast tries....
