normally cults make some of their members get into reputed fields like politics,law,medical field etc etc. Jim Jones cult People's church had some very reputed Republican politician members. Hearing this Jim Jones made his whole cult drink Kool aid of cyanide saying they HV no other way but to sacrifice themselves for the cause. The people had no option but to drink cz Jim's main assistants were pointing guns at everyone. Some we're even injected with it. 909 people died , n Jim shot himself n died.
Sad part is Jim Jones actually worked a lot for inclusion n desegregation of black n white people,n most of his followers actually we're were good people who wanted to make a better world free of discrimination.
