My dear friend, please read my comment again. Upanishads are the essence "derived" from the vedas. So vedas are the source material for upanishads. The name 'vedanta' explains it all.

Vedas do NOT contain idol worship. Is this line true or not??

Go to any museum and see the age of any idol. You'll be surprised at what you see!

See, I understand but not knowing the common answers isn't really uncommon or unheard of. Just because her family is named after Ramayan's characters ,doesn't mean she knows all the history or everything related to it. Dada-dadi,ma-papa ne rakh diya naam,now what can she even do.😆

My point is however common the topic is not necessary everyone knows about everything about it,also,sometime we forget stuff as well.
