Sonakshi is being trolled for not knowing a basic Ramayana question - Page 10

Tbh these ramayan ,Mahabharata are bed time stories where grand parents used to tell them to their grand kids...god knows how much truth in those ..but it’s not necessary to know everything abt ramayan and Mahabharata etc.,

Conservatives (right) and liberals (left) exist everywhere in the world. In India, unfortunately, there is no more place for liberals. They *must* be sent to Pakistan.

By the way, how many who are laughing on Sonakshi would know that there was no idol worship as per the vedas? In fact it was supposedly discouraged. The greatest God that was worshipped was Indra dev, and there is NO mention of Lord Shiva!

And yes, Ramayana IS technically a story. Just like Illiad. I consider vedas as our source of truth. Puranas are just extensions. And Ramayana & Mahabharata are stories retold(Bhagvad Gita is technically a part of Mahabharata). They could be true stories, yes. But shrota, the way information was passed down, would mean some info might have changed.

I didn't call her Pakistani just because she's anti BJP. For ex even AllThatCritique is anti BJP but I've seen her supporting India during surgical strike and the recent Kashmir issue. But this one member ponymo, I've never ever seen any pro India comment from her. She always disses India. Infact even in the Independence Day thread she was bashing India. That's why I assumed. Why is it even wrong to call her a Pakistani? Woh koi gali hai kya?And why is it wrong to bring charminggenie? No one is criticizing her. So what's the problem? Now we can't even talk about what a member has written in some other thread?

Ohhh Pleaseee this myth has been busted umpteen number of times that I'm even lazy to copy paste links here. There was no idol worship in Vedas?😆Now after listening to Zakir Naik and Dev dutt Fatnaik everyone has become an expert in hindu scriptures. I would suggest you to stop bringing religion here, whatever you've written is highly offensive to practicing Hindus like me. Apna ignorance ka pradarshan mat dijiye.🙏

Edit: I don't use YouTube videos for research so pardon me ignoring this. I do like to read scriptures though. Of course this is not the right forum to be pasting reference books/scriptures. And yes, I'm a practicing Hindu as well!

Edit 2: Please find the age of the oldest "confirmed" Hindu idol that exists and compare that with the age of Hinduism

Well the youtube video has given references from Upanishads and explained every word of the Upanishad. But sure you won't consider that when you consider some one line tweet of Devdutt Fatnaik as gospel truth.. So good luck with that. I just wanted to say Vedas are not text books that you'll understand by merely translating it. When Shankaracharya who's considered as the greatest learner of Upanishads and Vedas is idol worshipper who are you or that devdutt?

And the way you quoted me without even watching video I understand how open minded you are. I'm out of this discussion lol

I'm talking about vedas and not upanishads. Please go and read my comment again. Upanishads are derivatives of vedas.

And here's good for thought for you since you're open minded:

Find the oldest "confirmed" Hindu idol and compare it with the age of Hinduism! :)
