It could be that but she has to at least give something back to him. So far she has made this whole marriage about only her and Minnie. HS is nothing to her. I honestly can't remember when was the last time she thought about HS or his feelings. Was it the sharaab scene? Ever since then, she has made everything about her. Babita keeps saying she prioritizes Minnie to justify every action. HS said it only a couple of times but in his actions he proves it over and over again. So, he has a mental block at this point and is hurting like hell, but he will still prioritize her. That's why he still went ahead and married Babita despite what happened.

I hope Babita thinks back to this wedding night and sees things in a different light.

Even her reflections are of no use. She'll think about things but she won't act upon them or show any signs of learning. Especially when it comes to HS. Not once has she apologized for all the crap that she pulled on him.

I sometimes don't think she's accepted him as a husband or even thought of him as one. If she only married to give Minnie a father and wanted just that for herself, then fine. It's clear.

HS ain't going anywhere near her. Let her realize his worth and what it means to have a man who loves you that much be patient and wait for you. He will go back to waiting for her to make the next move.

I think this is why she was seeking out a father for Minnie first. Cuz if that rishta is on lockdown, then she doesn't worry about Minnie getting the adequate love that she deserves; giving her more time and room to figure herself out as a wife. But because of this siyappa, she now needs to secure the father before she can even think about the husband.

I guess, it's also reflective of her own needs. In those 17 years, yes she wanted a husband, but she must have wanted a father for Minnie more. Also, having that father would mean an automatic support to her not just as the mother, but also as a wife. The duties and responsibilities will be split between them, and she wouldn't have to bear the burden alone.

Why did babita not sleep in Hs room? I thought that it was always planned for her to sleep in his room. Wasn’t this how the cd came to be found in the first place, where it was dropped from the box mini took to their new room? She had even said “babes and your room” when speaking to him at the bottom of the stairs...

they really aren’t showing a second message in a good light which is such a shame! If they hadn’t rushed the wedding, all of this could have been sorted out BEFORE planning the wedding, rather than getting married then dealing with issues. Why did babita even marry hs? She might not have had a proper husband before but she’s experienced enough to know where a bride spends the wedding night (even if there’s no sex). Even mini knew this and took her stuff to babitas new room.

The writers aren’t dealing with this very well imo, I hope this changes soon

She wanted to go to Minnie who she thinks can't sleep alone, and even when she found Minnie asleep she slept there instead of going to HS. Bechara had no say in the matter.

Oh and she practically told him she had said yes to this relationship so that Minnie could have a father.

Again, her intentions were fine. It's her attitude that was wrong and she needs to apologize for that.
