I have a feeling we might see a similar thing to the Imarti track but this time HS helping her understand and motivate her, and especially if he detects that she needs therapy. At least, I hope so. I think it's important for Minnie to know a bit about his childhood trauma and daddy issues so that she can look to him for inspiration again.
Just like he's lost the light and hope with her stepping back, she's in a way lost her idol and inspiration with his retreat. There's no one in the world she can open up to or expose her vulnerability to the way she does with HS. Where will she go? Babita just isn't there yet mentally and needs more time to develop.
The look he gave himself in the mirror, it's as if the fight in him had been lost and so he went back to sleep on the charpaayi. It was simple and hassle free, and he was going back to stripping himself of all the basic comforts of life. Even with the tea, he would be fine with wherever he got it from. So sad.
I would love for Minnie to suggest that he go to therapy as well. If he says it's good for her overall mental health, then the same thing applies to him.
As much as I want to say Babes knows her own daughter, there are quite a few ways in which she doesn't. This is why I really appreciated HS being there for Minnie. He was always there when she broke down and helped her to get back up. The difference was that in those times, Minnie made her hurt and pain vocal. But because of this whole wedding, she kept quiet and a result neither mother or father were able to pick up on it.
We were joking about this, but that charpayi has been his one true companion whenever he has been alone. Whether it's after his mother's death, or Imarti's, it's been there to give him a little refuge. The machardani, yes it's there to keep out all the mosquitoes, but it also keeps out the world. No one else is allowed in that little corner except him and that's where the real HS lies. With all his lonely thoughts, tears and trauma.
