Here just bcoz one particular character is the queens favourite doesn't mean everyone would accept whatever wrong is being justified and that too in such a way.... I don't really get the desperation on the writers part. They should at least try and bring some consistency which is terribly lacking 👎🏼

Yeah. Medical profession and law should be spared by the itv ..kuch bhi dikhate hain in the name of drama..they have a lot of other stuff to butcher

We r just fan of good stories and characters. Characters can be good , grey bad . I have been fans of some villains also cos they bring such good masala to the story .

I have always loved dramas and characters which are not easy . Not so simple black and white. Cos who is that in real life.

Reg forums fights, it's part and parcel. Even I used to be like that. I still am, just have mellowed down😆.

Social Cognition theory of media, roots in psychology does talks abt behavioural models adopted by consumption of mass media. And as far as role models r concerned... Celebrity endorsements is a big business coz of impact these celebs hv. Many ppl still cant differentiate between n actor n a character.

Problem is not with how a character is framed. Villians are good for the story. Problem is when their acts r justified. Ppl hailed naveen babu but makers never justified him. Komo track also the same. So y justify anyones acts? They too had reasons but they didnt never vouched for sympathy neither makers justified them. And too much of justification dilutes the pride of the character too here.

While story telling we hv to take care tht u get into the head of character and make them react the way they wud as per their personality. But here characters r changing personalities. Thats the inconsistency. And thts wht is frustrating to most ppl. And makers r being callous to ppl who got them to this position.

Besides we cant forget tht ppl r making an emotional investment into the show. Are we all nt doing the same? Be it for the show, the story, the character or the actor... We r all emotionally invested. Had it nt been the case, at this hr of the day we wudnt be here to discuss this... IF wudnt hv been a platform n sns wudnt hv been filled with the campaigns.

Thts my understanding of the whole topic of imapct, story telling and role modeling.

@euphoric excellent post 👏 gray characters are just fine , n much better than sugary sweet ones but here , the original character wasnt kept , instead I see a character who is full of contradictions . Don't make him talk about the stuff he doesn't believe in..keeping double standards such as certain crimes/actions are allowed to him but not others is not being gray.

N The biggest blunder which they did with Mr bajaj is making him fall for prerna so early and losing his mind nd personality because of it..from the time he has entered bb, all i see is his jealousy nd frustration for the basus. He HAS a family , adorable daughter , wife , What else is lacking ? And then its not as worse as anurag.. for the tall claims n the pearls of wisdom for anurag,Why not just implement them in his life? Those one liners?
