After PB, my patience for watching other stuff for timepass has also evaporated. All thoughts are consumed by this story and these characters.

And yes, when I get put off, all I need to do is watch 5 minutes of any other show which is all about objectified FLs or scheming vamps, then suddenly I can come back to PB and even take the shamelessly selfish Khuranas and cliched CD drama in stride. Lol

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Babita still hasn't developed her sense of identity. She has yet to learn who she is and proactively determine what kind of person she wants to be, rather than react to various situations and cope as best as she can. Basically, she needs to learn to take control of her life/destiny and it will take time for her to get there.

A major part of what she's struggling with is due to social conditioning, something that is very difficult to overcome. It's a drastic mindset change, coupled with the fact that she now has the added responsibility as a wife on top of being a mother of a troubled teenager.

Exactly 👏....Babita still has a long way to go in discovering her identity, in truly knowing herself.

The financial independence was one step in discovering herself but the more complex personal identity angle still remains. She still has a lot to self reflect about what her identity is as a woman before a mom, before a wife. Those are aspects of her, not the sum of her.

And that is why her journey is harder. Mini is a clean slate who wasn’t weighed down by that level of social conditioning baggage....HS is a man so he didn’t have to live like a woman does with that social conditioning. Babita’s mental baggage weighs heavier cuz out of three, she experienced that social conditioning the most heavily and it stunted her emotionally the most.

HS was hurt the moment Mini said “Meri Babes ki shadi” are it’s his wedding too.

These 2 and others have only focused on Babita all throughout the wedding. It was fine. She was vulnerable and insecure. Even HS stood by her.

But Mini. He expects from Mini. She has few words to spare for low life Lovely but not for HS?

She went on and on. Then came the CD but the damage was done before that. CD just got all the hurt of HS on the surface.

No matter how much I try, I can’t sympathize with Mini here. Didn’t she see her Babes pain for 17 years? Wasn’t she the one kept telling Babes to speak up and not tolerate their taunts? And when Babes does, she feels bad for Khuranas?

I am sorry but I have been Mini many times in my life. I can forget but I can’t forgive closed ones for hurting my Mom, ever. It always lingers on.

I loved Babita’s outburst. Bang on. When she clapped, was highlight. Paridhi did great.

Yet all in all, it’s HS that my heart broke for. Mother daughter is so busy in their own web, they forget that someone else is there. They have so many times completely discarded him. It must feel worst to constantly be called 3rd wheel. And when he said socha tha tera father Banunga.. heartbreaking. Anirudh was some so brilliant. Don’t have enough words to describe it. The crumbling of that dil ka rishtaa in front of his own eyes. Reality hit his expectations in worst possible ways.

Please Babita.. please. Ab to jaago. I want HS to completely retract and not say anything. Nothing. Let mother daughter realize he is there. Let them realize he is important to them as much as they to him. Let them feel bad for hurting him. And let them make up. I am sure Mini will be in her own web for sometime which I don’t mind but I want Babita to wake up and smell the coffee.

P. S. — India forums blocked my ISP. Couldn’t log in from computer or phone. So wanted to discuss last 2 episodes. Finally somehow logged in. PC still ain’t working.

Re: epi....yes, HS’s pain of neglect was acute. Anirudh was just phenomenal yesterday.

I liked some of Babita’s dialogues but overall both mother daughter didn’t move me much yesterday...it was all HS.

Re: Mini and Khuranas...that does seem like the biggest shift hard to swallow. The Mini who ferociously stood by her Mom, suddenly was numb yesterday and feeling sorry for the Khuranas despite always wanting Babita to speak up. 🤔

I can only chalk it up to the fact that she is mentally fatigued by many things by this point and is on the verge of a breakdown....in a vulnerable state, she isn’t feeling confident and sure of things like she used to feel.

Also, I guess she felt bad for the Khuranas cuz she invited them for her sake and they got hurt by Babita. But even then, man....this is a new Mini who isn’t reacting as strongly to the crap Lovely and co were saying to HS and Babita 🤷‍♀️

Shaayad sab drama ke liye setup tha so we have to take it that way.

HS-Mini ka angst will be way more hard hitting this time cuz now HS isn’t guilt tripping...he’s showing his hurt instead of just placating Mini. It’s needed. Mini also needs to realize what he feels.

Oh I didn’t know what happened in BWF. I haven’t posted there in a while. I emailed IF but they are not helping much. Let’s see.

As for Mini, the biggest problem she has is, she preaches but never practices.

Babes tu yeh kar. Babes tu woh kar. Bol de. Apni marzi se ji. Aisa kar. Waisa kar. But the moment Babes does so, Babes tune aisa kyu kiya?

I kinda feel disconnected to her. Her speech was very emotional but I also felt she was being unreasonable for including Khuranas and not HS. If she is as mature as portrayed, this mishap doesn’t bode well with her characterization.

I seriously want HS to give silent treatment for a while. Coz it’s not fair that he is made feel unwanted at every step. Constantly be reminded that he has no place in their life. Even after going through so much together with them.

Someone in the forum just posted that Mini has a tendency to root for the underdog. Lol I’m starting to agree with that. She always wants someone to save....pehle Babes was the vulnerable one so Mini ka focus was there...now she is finding Khuranas vulnerable....kal Ashok bhi vulnerable lag sakta hai 🤦‍♀️

HS needs to act more bechara, tab Mini will realize his importance 😆

I haven't watched today's episode yet but from whatever was shown yesterday I do not feel sympathy for HS because he did not trust Mini and believed that Mini would play that CD on purpose .

More so , Mini had trusted him completely regarding Imarti death case
