Well we have different opinions on that matter, I think he was brilliant in both the films you mentioned

I like Ranbir more but Ranveer is currently the bigger star. Ranbir lacks consistency while Ranveer has had 3 very successful movies in a row. I really hope Ranbir's next two movies are successful.

Simmba catter to it's audience, it's a masala entertainer

and Ranveer was natural in that setup

To each their own. I think Ranveer overacted and the serious subject matter wasn't handled right. He is wasted in a Rohit shetty movie, even masala should have a certain standard

Overall I agree that his filmography is solid and has good variety

Both are stale and not even atleast hot to bear them onscreen

Bigger star is probably Ranveer Singh - he's got more of a superstar persona and connect with film fans. Ranbir Kapoor is more shy and understated in his public image in the last few years. Acting wise they're both supremely talented.

Ranbir . I like his roles well. From apkgk where he was good at comedy to rajneeti where he played grey character amazingly and stole the show from everyone's else. Then rockstar performance was another gem. Barfi needs no introduction. And he was amaZing as bunny in yjhd. He played his character well in tamasha too.

And the transformation he did for sanju shows the amazing actor in it. Playing different shades.

Ranveer i watched lootera in theatre and i couldnt understand what he murmured throughout the movie for which he gets praised here.

He was good in bm. Though. I liked him in bbb.. but he was his usual self in ramleela, simbaa. Ott..
