Beeji has always been bipolar. And what Dadu said made sense today, them being around would hamper Babita from starting her life afresh. And the only reason them being here was Mini - cause they can't ever term Babita as someone who is their apna. DIL is always a DIL no matter what.

And what do they mean by Minni’s own mother doesn’t understand Minnie. Really? Babita singlehandedly raised Minnie for 17 years, but she doesn’t understand Minnie at all. What was Babita doing in those 17 years as a mother? So who understands Minnie then? Apparently HS doesn’t understand Minnie either. Khuranas don’t understand her. Ashok doesn’t understand her. Only Mickey understands her, more than Babita herself 🙄. Bull crap.

They don't understand Mini's facade. And NB is right. Babita couldn't see through her fake smiles until the teacher told her so. Neither could HS. That doesn't demean them being her parents even one bit. But yes, they cannot look through the inside of her.

Mickey sees it cause he understands her as a person, as a girl. Not as a daughter or granddaughter or any relationship imposed.

and just because right now they are showing that babita is lost in her own emotions, doesnt mean she will hurt/ neglect or not understand mini.

to have a 3rd person question babita's competence as a mother is demeaning. specially when babita is shown to be the mother who loves her daughter unconditionally. trusts her, cares for her.
