I must say that you write really well Munni 👏👏🤗
Your post is brilliantly put in words you deserve a standing ovation for the effortless flow of words.👏
However I would like to state that I agree with some points while disagree with others. I would try to put them forward one by one.
I agree with you when you say that he is giving him freedom of deciding for herself but this freedom according to me has been promised to her as long as she is taking care of kuki that was the deal as far as I remember. Also I would say that this isn't a normal arranged marriage and the basis of this is not trust here rather a deal for his child. So for me it's more like a restricted freedom here which would be curtailed as soon as she ever tries to free herself which I know she'll never do that. So for me according to whatever has been shown so far he will have to give her this freedom which was the deal if he expects her to keep up with her side as well.
Second I agree with you when you say he is changing when he talks about Prerna's respect and importance of Anurag's life. But isn't he the same person bcoz of whom this pure soul is fighting for his life. He supported Prerna very good but giving lecture to a mother whose son suffered a cardiac arrest isn't acceptable for me. I can tell you the sight of those shocks is horrifying for anyone as I remember my mbbs days when I was new to all this. I too am not a supporter of Mohinis behaviour towards Prerna in the past but here she is a mother....thats all whose son is on death bed bcoz of two people standing in front of her. For Mohini Prerna is the one who left him right before his wedding and he has become insane in her love while Bajaj is the one who accepted that he hit Anurag out of rage. So I don't expect any sanity and manners from a mother here. Any mother would do even worse than what Mohini did.
Third I agree that he handled the situation nicely today and that's expected from him as he is probably the only one who isn't emotionally attached to the dying man there and I appreciate him for this. When we're emotionally attached to someone our mind stops working and heart takes charge of our behaviour. So everyone's ott reaction is kind of justified in my opinion. While he was the one who was directly indirectly the sole person responsible for this mess. So if someone argues that he could have left then I would rather say that he never wanted his deals truth to come out probably. There is much more to this deal than just kuki probably which I can interpret from what Maasi said today.
I don't agree with you when you say that Prerna took stand in front of Mohini bcoz of Bajaj and his words the previous day. In my opinion she always has been the same when it's about her loved ones.... remember Prerna Sharma in Naveen Babu time, when she confronted Komolika and Ronit for Shivani, remember Prerna Basu in the hospital store room when she came to know about her father's murder and how she confronted Anurag. So she has this inherent fierce side when it comes to her loved ones.... here also she was strong and fierce for Anurag's life.... no matter what she has to be close to him and she made sure that she does that. So for me I see more of Prerna Sharma than Mrs Bajaj over here.
Bajaj giving that lol worthy moment in front of was really nice I'll love to see this scene now😆
His self introspection as to why his behaviour is changing holds meaning only when it's consistent. One moment you udao a man you hate and next moment you talk about his life.... this doesn't have an impact on me personally. I personally would label him as a hypocrite if I'm allowed to use the word here. How does hitting a man out of rage and then acting mahaan justify your deeds? But I know EK world labels such people as a hero which I refuse to accept.
I agree with you that change is inevitable and maybe Prerna brings out a change in him. I'm all for a proper redemption track but not for this rushed whitewash of a grey character. I believe in facing the consequences of your deeds and realising your faults which makes you a better person. Maybe in future they butcher Anurag to the extent that Bajaj becomes a real hero which I'm already seeing happening for sure but a hero is established on his own not by butchering the leads.
Doosron ki khushiyon ki neenv pe apna aashiyaan nahi basaana chahiye ....
Yahan to kitni zindagiyan daao pe lagi hain....
But again if they gave their relationship a proper build up and time I think it would have been easier for me atleast to accept them but for now their understanding and his talks on maturity and freedom look fake and forced to me personally.
I don't know if I could express myself as well as you did but I tried. I might have missed out on a few points of yours as I'm just typing on phone on the basis of my memory of what I read in your post.
Thanks for your post and giving me a chance to express myself.
Thank you 🤗
