Re: custody angle....haha same thought occurred to me yesterday....we were discussing it in kal ka thread.....I guess we've seen too much iTV....saare typical twists yaad aate hain😆

Yes, Mini is still a minor, but some ppl were saying yesterday that she's beyond the age where they can have a custody battle over her and she can state her choice about where she wants to live....and choose toh HS ko hi karegi.

@bold

Unless she gets to that point mentally where she's wary of blocking Babita's happiness, so chooses to go live with Ashok. It would be very typical ITV if this were to happen. Not sure they would go that route.

I'm not aware of what complaints there were before in detail, but I will say this much.....I never had a problem connecting to the emotions of the characters before this.

Babita ke ego is not a problem for me like it may be for many others......because I could always see what the writers were doing....their intent was clear....and this isn't just because of binge-watching....every episode was clear as a stand alone also.....

But with the wedding track, they've deffo gone outside of their regular mode and in this last stretch, they are clearly losing steam.....it's not just the drag, it's the execution of the emotional scenes also.....too much punting of some things has made them lose momentum.

People complain about Babita ka ego but there were always scenes to address that....in-depth convos between the characters, self-reflection. Can we honestly say that is happening to the apt level after Tuesday? Not to me.

HS-Babita needed to be built up well in the lead up to the wedding.....strange silences without build up....how will those be effective? They stuffed in too many nonsensical things to kill the momentum.

The irony is amazing....I've loved the build up otherwise for precisely the many moments of non-verbal communication between them....and now the writers are leaving them disconnected.....what a pity.

They need to come back with a really good scene to make up for this.....but shaadi se fursat kahaan milegi.....yeh rasmein khatam kar ke koi suhaag raat tamasha na shuru kar lein phir *cringe*......kisi bhi cheez ko grace se nahin handle kar sakte kya? Is it really so hard?

I really hope this tamasha-giri can stop once the wedding is done and they can focus on the actual relationships.

As for Kammo....I guess there's no point in my saying anything....sabne accept kar liya hai toh chalne do *shrugs*

And I guess I'm the only one who's noticed that HS ka face looks orange in the reflected light? 😆

Hahaha totally possible they might make mini the mahaan sacrificing daughter and choose otherwise just so she can't be a hurdle and then she will need some solid gyaan and will be a learning experience for all but still it would be too dumb for mini to suddenly do something so silly just caz 4 logon ne bol dia and esp for the mini who has taught and told babes ar everystep that log jo bhi kahein kehte rahein unko kya koi aur kaam hai how does it matter to suddenly beleive those log and their nonsense and consider herself a bad omen and a kaanta. That would be just too odd and too typical/cliche .

LOL that would be sooo damn typical and very unlike PB.....if they go that route, the show might as well have lost its soul for good.

Mini will go live with the man who talked in front of his daughter about how he saw her mother without clothes? Kaafi out of character hoga.

LOL I'm not talking about the haldi scene.....I'm talking about the tea scene in the beginning.....he's looking orange in the light reflected from the pink and orange fabric on the walls.

Yes it looks like it .. because yesterday HS's mehndi was dark, today it wasn't .. so consistency is not there due to aage-piche shooting ..

Plus the editing isn't helping .. feels like they want to address multiple things in 1 episode .. and in trying to do so they are chopping off some important stuff ..

Can we hope that the editing is off only because of the pressure of shooting for endless naach gaana? Will they really find their mojo when they go back to normal scenes?

Now I'm dreading gimmicks in the post shaadi phase also.....😕....and by gimmicks, I don't mean sad scenes....that's not the issue.....but I don't want to see typical ITV type disjointed drama.

And can they show some grace in handling whatever intimacy issues arise? Please faluda na banaayein like they are doing with current disjointed scenes.

I am crossing fingers on that .. somewhere they were able to get back to that momentum .. I am hoping they do ..

right now the PH went ballistic with wedding preparations and rasms .. hopefully when all this is over they can come back to their regular momentum ..

Regarding intimacy stuff .. I don't know why I feel that it may not happen that soon due to their shyness or if it does, it will be implied ..
