Shubhavi has a great screen presence and today's Mohini behaves just like any normal mother would do in this situation. So thank you CVs for keeping her atleast relatable here. She has been a possessive mother from the start but at the same time she is their strength as well. ....both for Nivi and Anurag. I just love Mohini now👏

Bold - But for some, Mohini has no right to behave like this because she has sixth sense to know that Pre married Bajaj to save Anu and by doing so Pre was doing some meherbaani to the Basus. I don't know when they will understand that Pre accepted the deal for her happiness too which lies only in seeing Anu alive. Basus push is only a secondary reason.

Everyone is expected to see beyond what is shown on your face but the rules apply to everyone except Mr and Mrs Bajaj 🤔

Honently, i can't support mohini completely coz she has been wrong and she has done some real nasty stuff. But i really can never hate her. She is strong and brings stability to the whole basu badi in a whole twisted manner. She is manipulative too but she has always put her children first. Nothing above family and her children.

Sometimes i really feel tht mohini's hatred towards pre was purely motherly instincts. I dont know how to explain this but its tht gut feeling sometimes tht makes u desperate to manipulate the scheme of events to avoid something bad from happening. Whatever the reasons, her fears have come true and her son is fighting for his life. I dont expect this mother to be understanding. She has seen her son suffering coz of this gal, i dont expect her to be civil and welcoming towards her.

However faulty her character be, her children are more grounded. Whether its nivi or anu, they both upholds their family values. Anu is a gem. Tapur has a true heart. She has failed her kids but at the same time one cant deny that her love for them is pure.

She was bang on. I am glad tht she is untouched by CVs.

Wonderful..except for her dressing up, which is like too much, I love mohini as a character and shubhavi ,I have become a huge fan of hers ..she has an awesome range and many times it doesn't feel like that she is acting. She is so natural and expressive without going ott. Here she does bec her character demands.

What you said about her , that mohini was vindictive for prerna from the beginning is so logical. And true. As a mother she must be watching her children and sharma family , anyone would think they would be jealous of their riches and would be attracted to anurag..afterall who would not..when kzk started they said he was the most eligible bachelor of kol. .lol her worst fears came true and anurag is ruined.. 😭 vaise he would be ruined anyways lol if not prerna he would have married someone like mishika3 or komo and suffer the entire life ..I wish he had a personality of his own.

TBH Shubaavi is the ONE actress from this reboot cast, that has been better than the original (at leats for me). She's breathed so much life into Mohini and she's compelling to watch on screen. I may not like her, and I may find her motivations and schemes dubious at times, but I cannot deny that the way she has been played Shubaavi has been incredibly consistent. There are times where Mohini hides her truth from Nivi, and she says that just like her Onu, Nivi has a pure heart with the best of intentions for people. Mohini is cruel and hard, for a world that is crueller, if only to protect her children. I understand it, even if I may not like it. It's hard not to feel for her or root for her when she's in near panic of her son on the brink of death. No mother wants to watch their child's self-destruction the way she's being forced to. She's brought this show up in it's darkest times, because of how amazing she is. It's always a pleasure to watch her.

Grace, I for some reason can never feel sorry for Mohini because she never truly cared for anurag, neither had the remorse. That doesn't mean I am saying I am happy seeing Anurag suffer like this.

People here think it's all around Prerna, but no, it's definitely not. She had this belief in caricature version of who Anurag Basu was - the most eligible , brilliant, good looking, rich, high class bachelor, who was every parents best dream boy for their girl.

However, above all her love and care she claims to have for Anurag comes her importance to society, status, money and jewellery. She never cared for the real feelings of Anurag.

She saw Anurag and mishka together, got to know they were more than friends in London, and went ahead and announced their engagement. Moloy asked her to check with Anurag once, she did that, but infront of everybody, and it was more like imposing her decision on him.

Anurag has always felt that loneliness, he never , I repeat never went to her to share his feelings, it was always his baba whom he found comfortable. She could never see through his sufferings, during komo's engagement, Anurag said, I have become all alone Prerna.

She was not happy when he was happy, but she wanted him to be happy when she was happy.

It's has always been her dialogues which are loud and big that she loves Anurag, she cares for him and all that, but it wasn't really. She was happy about him because he gave her more reasons to flaunt and be proud, he helped her create this best image amongst her acquaintances, other ladies and mom's, when that slipped off, she could not accept that. Anurag was always an obsession for Mohini who gave her a superior social status.

Shubbu is a great actress, she was bad and under perfoming in between, but now she is back, and is doing a brilliant job.
