After the incident in Prernaâs room Nivedita sitting on her bed was thinking hard about all the incidents happened in the past. Anupam seeing his wife in deep thought asked her âNivi what happened. You look tensed my dear.â Then Nivi narrated all the incidents which happened in Prernaâs room. Anupam was shocked at Anuragâs audacity but when he saw his wife crying it was his first priority to calm her down. He took her in a hug and sweetly whispered âstop crying my dear stop crying. Everything will be alright; just calm down.â Instead of getting soothed by his words she got even more sad. âhow can I calm down Anupam. Today the way Onu behaved with Prerna it shocks me. Is this the Onu which never even raised his voice? Is this my Onu who was sweet and calm. Because today I couldnât recognise the Onu in front of me. He isnât my Onu. The one on whom Nivedita Basu was proud if. He isnât the same brother whom I tied the rakhi to.â she said while crying on his shoulder while he caressed her head and said âNivi just a few days then she will com and she will make everything right. You may not believe that everything will be alright but donât you trust that she will do everything to make everything right. Donât you dear? While Nivi nodded getting soothed at the mere thought of her. âI miss her like crazy Anupam. If she would have been there then nothing of this sot would have happened. Mr Bajaj wouldnât have even dared to try to eye Basu publications. If she would have been there Onu would have never reacted like this and Prerna; I donât understand that girl. At one moment she feels as if she just wanted to hurt Onu and the second moment she looks so guilty as if she is force d to be like this. Its confusing. And whenever I see Prerna and Mr Bajaj, there is something between the which Onu and Prerna never had. Something like understanding, something like trust. They both understand each other without even the other needing to explain his or her reaction. Prerna and Onu never had such deep connection. Are we not seeing what we should see Anupam? Is there something more to it than our eye can see? Is there something we are missing in our anger towards Prerna for betraying Onu? Are we so blinded by Onuâs pain that we canât something from Prernaâs point of view? what is happening Anupam. When will she come? and she makes everything alright.â Nivi asked tired with all that has happened in Basu Badi. âcalm down Nivi you are tired just relax now. I will tell you when its lunch time but now just relax and wait. She will come and make everything alright. Just calm down.â he assured her while she nodded and kept her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes while he caressed her hair.
Noon time in Prernaâs room
Prerna was sitting on her bed when suddenly someone pushed her from back. She got scared but then recognised by touch that it was her dear daughter. She turned around seeing Kukki looking at her cheekily. âyou scared me Kukki.â Prerna said with a sigh while Kukki shrugged. Seeing this Prerna huffed and pouted not looking at Kukki. Kukki seeing her mother faking anger towards her went up to her mother and held her ears pouting while mouthed a sorry. Seeing her daughterâs cute antics Prerna started smiling and started tickling her. Then after some fun moments Prerna made Kukki fresh up and both went down for the lunch. The Basus were sitting with MT where Maasi and Mohini Basu were taunting each other. When they saw Prerna Kukki they stopped Sharda gave them a smile (fake one) and Mohini glared at them. Prerna ignored everyone only smiling at Anupam and Nivi of whom Anupam reciprocated it while Nivi didnât even look at her because she was guilty what her brother did to Prerna but the latter misunderstood that Nivi was angry on her. Luckily Anurag had gone to his office for a meeting with the investors. Mohini didnât taunt Prerna as usual like she did every day when Rishabh wasnât around because Nivi had strictly said her against it. Asking Nivi the reason she got the answer that Nivedita was tired with all the drama and wanted some peace. After the lunch Anupam went out to meet Anurag. MT went up to their room, Prerna and Kukki went to latterâs room for completing her homework. And Nivedita and Mohini were sitting in the hall
The doorbell rang
âwait Maa let me get itâ Nivedita said to her mother when she was getting ups to open the door. All the servants were having their food so Nivedita herself went to attend the door thinking it would be Anupam and Onu.
Rishabhâs cabin after the meeting with the delegates
âwhatever you asked for sir is send to the Basu mansion and whatever information you asked for will be on your desk in a half an hourâs time.â Mehra said
âgood job Mehra. Now just some more days then the Basus will understand with whom they have messed up.â the king replied lighting up a cigarette. He had almost stopped smoking because his queen didnât like it and also because it may tamper with her health also. He didnât want anything to happen with her and their child. Btu he also falters sometimes. He notices Mehraâs tensed face and sighs âwhat happened Mehra?â he asked
âsir, are you sure itâs necessary, means is insulting the Basus and breaking their reputation the only way of avenging.â Mehra asked.
âIts necessary Mehra so that anyone thinks twice before messing with me. I was very hostile but they took my patience as my weakness but not anymoreâ he said. âanything else which concerns you and isnât related to Basusâ âYes sir one more thing. Prerna maâam has send a lunch box for you and strictly told me not let you leave the cabin until you finish itâ Mehra said smiling at his bossâ wifeâs words. While Rishabh sighed at his wifeâs stern orders but smiled at her concern for him and took the box from Mehra and started is lunch.
In Basu mansion
Nivedita opened the door and instead of Anupam and Onu she was greeted by a man with an envelope in his hand. âum yesâŚ.â she started âis this Ms Tapur Basuâs house?â he asked. âyes, I am her sister what happened?â Nivi asked with curiosity. âyes maâam, this envelope has come her.â He replied. âgive it to me I will take itâ Nivi said. The man gave the envelope to her and went off. Nivedita closed the door the door behind still looking at envelope on her hand. Who will send an envelope to Tapur? She thought then something strokes her mind. It must be her photos from her college trip. She thought excitedly opening the envelope only to be shocked at the contents inside it. Mohini Basu was worried. Nivedita had been gone for long. So, she also went there. âWhoâs there on the door NiveâŚâŚ.â Mohini Basu cuts off seeing Niveditaâs ashen face. âWhat happened Nivi? She asked. Holding up the papers in her hand Nivedita answers in shock âMaa these papers are Tapurâs abortion papers.â Nivi said. âwhatâŚâŚâŚâŚ. stop joking Nivi tell me clearly whaâŚ.â Mohini said getting cut off by Nivi âI am not joking, see these papers arenât fakeâ while holding up the papers which Mohini snatched. The papers were indeed abortion consent papers and the name was indeed Tapurâs. Mohini couldnât believe her eyes. But she didnât know that surprises worse than these would be coming their way.
