How is Akshay getting a solo release on Diwali?

I mean how? Housefull is not a big franchise like Golmaal, and Golmaal Again didn't get a solo release either. Secret Superstar might not be a big film but Aamir being a guest actor in the movie added brand value.

Here Housefull 4 is clashing with a small film like Saand Ki Aankh with no big star. Why no big film is clashing with it? War could've released on Diwali.

Because is bar Diwali panauti hai regarding box office. The biggest box office day might be coming on Sunday. The actual release Friday is pre-Diwali supposed to be not so good for movies. Maybe that's why biggies are not that keen.

Apart from that Post Diwali pooja day, film has largely underperformed.

Movies have underperformed on Diwali because they were craps like HNY, TOH, PRDP. But all have given the biggest openings of all time when they were released.
