Should SRK retire?

I'm a big fan of SRK but it's obvious that he has declined a lot. This decade he has just delivered flops/underperforming movies apart from Chennai Express and hasn't recovered despite working with some good directors like Imtiaz and ALR (who delivered their worst movies with him, it's like he attracts bad scripts).

His contemporaries like Aamir, Salman, even Akshay etc. have surpassed him. I think it may be better to just retire before declining even more (if that's possible, he can't even get 100+ crore movies at this point), it's not like he needs the money.

What do other fans think? I'm sure people who never liked him anyway want him to retire anyway.

His case ia like ab snr now, he shoukd take up supporting characters or character driven roles...his era of romantic hero is over. No matter how and what srk fans keep trending on twitter..they dun go to watch his films in cinemas. Zero was a setback. And the final nail in the coffin

Not retire but choose scripts which reflect his age

Was that really his problem with his past few movies? For an example in JHMS he was definitely supposed to be an older dude, same for Raees.

I think the bigger problem is that for some reason he chooses mostly shit scripts and doesn't really get what the Indian Audience wants. Like most even liked the first half of Zero but the second was so dumb and ridiculous. JHMS was really poor and meaningless as well

He should do Dhoom 4 or a Raju Hirani film to make a comeback. Why will he retire or do supporting roles when Big B is still working? He only had three Flops this decade. He should go the Big B way at worst condition and that hasn't came yet.

exactly. not only age, he should choose scripts which suits his body as well.

IMO aise body and action movies bilkul suit nahi karta. he's looking older than his age. romantic movies bhi suit nahi karta.
