How is her death caused by him? He even asked Dumbledore to hide them? I consider him a Grey character whose circumstances made him do bad things...

He loved lily n he protected her kid who looked soo much like a person he hated n who tormented him..

He regretted his life choices n did what he could to save lives..

Yep, Snape was horrible person. Just because he was protecting Harry doesn't make him s father figure. Otherwise Police and Bodyguarda are also our father figures.

Sirius had an excuse to be like that as he spent 12 years in Azkaban. Never got a chance to grow up. Snape has no such excuse. He was immature by choice.
