On a lighter note, why are these photos black and white? 😆 By the time HS was 8, it should be like late 80s.....colored cameras were common by then, no?

These black and white photos make it look like 1950s ke era ki hai HS ki mom😆

I take it as another layer of emotional richness for the story....a strong resolve.....that will be tested by life and circumstances and each time it overcomes those circumstances, there will be another layer of heartwarming depth added to it.

I agree .. he is going to need Babita more than ever subconsciously if not consciously .. given his inherent nature of putting up facade to evade touching his sore spot .. Babita will also have to try harder

Althought HS being HS might try his usual tactic of let's just not talk about sad memories and just focus on happy stuff.....so there Babita will have to somehow get through to him to help him let out the pain.

You are absolutely right in that Babita is a nurturer by nature....her being a mother herself adds to that.....Mini too has a very caring nature that she gets from her mother only....but there are limits to how much Mini can nurture that lost child inside HS.....just like there were some things inside Babes that only HS could strike a chord with, there are some things inside HS that only Babita can strike a chord with through her unique characteristics as a mother, a nurturer.

It's not like koi race hai for Babita to know something first or Mini to know something first😆.....but yes, the writers do need to give HS-Babita more one on one conversations for catharsis....and I feel it will happen.....everything is slowly building up to it.....post shaadi sab hoga.

I didn't mean it in a negative way. Just to put it out there, I love Mini-HS's bond, and love watching their scenes. What I mean to say is that Mini is also just 17. She cannot and will not understand all of these traumas that HS might have faced in his childhood. You also don't wanna stress her more, esp. with her battling her own mental health. Also, I think the writers have solidified Mini and HS's bond to an unbreakable level, and I think that can stay in the back burner for now.

Hanita, on the other hand, really need to connect on an emotional level, their vulnerable self. HS has seen that part of Babita, but Babita is yet to witness vulnerable HS. She saw a glimpse of it during the Imarti track, but she needs to be privy to all aspects of him, that includes his traumas, vulnerabilities etc, and she deserves to too, esp. after they get married. I think HS opening up to Babita, showing his vulnerable self will connect them emotionally, and will only strengthen their relationship. Yeah, post shaadi hoga ye sab I hope 😳.

Haha I can sense you losing patience with the story moving slowly slowly.....shaadi feels door abhi....😆....and shaadi being door means these HS-Babita convos are even further away maybe.....LOL

But I guess I'm a newer viewer toh I'm just enjoying all the epis even as story moves gradually.....mujhe shaadi episode dekhne ki koi jaldi nahin hai😆.....for once, and this is very unusual for me, I feel like going with the flow of the writing....cuz they've actually managed to captivate me to a large extent when usually most shows can't hold my attention span even in passing😆

Re: Mini....yes, she can't be burdened with everything.....I feel like uska guilt bhi lega HS at some point that he maybe put too much on her to handle in terms of his emotional issues by sharing with her.

THIS!!! That childhood trauma can be healed by Babita and Babita only. Like you said, Mini is the conduit, but Babita is a healer, a nurturer. She will have to be that to HS as well. And I don't know about others but I really don't want HS to share all that childhood trauma, that pain and anguish with Mini at all. Hopefully now she is able to see the depth of his pain for his mother through these pictures and his sentiments with the room/mother

Mini is merely 17 .. she empathizes with him for sure .. but she can't fill the gap that Babita can on emotional level with her love & care .. she is filling the space of parent-child relationship but she can never fill the space of a spouse/partner/lover.. and hence as u said this chord will have to strike with Babita ..

I'm also curious about HS ka grandfather.....the police officer connection they both share....the only father figure HS actually got growing up.....how did he handle HS ki mom's death and all that.....I'm curious to see all this unfold.

I guess one of the other other locked rooms belongs to his grandfather.....woh bhi ek din khulega slowly slowly.

Lol yes she has already gone crazy asking about promo and Shaadi episode .. But to a certain extent the episodes have become slightly slow until yesterday .. since yesterday the momentum has begun to pick up slightly .. After having watched the last 2 episodes I have now realized they went all slow to address babes insecurities and open 2 more track parallel .. plus somewhere by resolving her insecurities they are bringing her to a level where she can step up and resolve HS's issues ..

I really am. Chewing gum ki tarah khich rahe hain is shaadi ko, aur ab ek aur naya syappa agaya hai . I am ready for the wedding to be over with, and to see the story unfold after the wedding.
