The due are together so often that now it seems they are really in love and may marry soon.

But if it isn't meant to be then Alia should dump him, so that Ranbir gets a taste of his own medicine.

I genuinely don’t think she is the problem, nor were his exes. After observing Ranbir throughout the years I am really starting to think that he has sociopathic traits (lacks of empathy, struggle to show emotions, opportunistic behaviour, manipulation, etc.) and this is just who he is. The show-business industry (especially Hollywood) and high flying jobs are full of them because the higher you are the easier it is to be and hide this behaviour.

With Ranbir, being together for a long time, vacationing etc doesn't mean much. He vacationed with DP and Kat too and even lived in with Kat for quite sometime.

The only difference between his past relationships and Alia is that his mom and sister seem to like her more than his other exes, but I wonder if that's going to be a strong enough reason for him to tie the knot.

i could be completely wrong/off base, but... couldn't Ranbir's seemingly emotionless face be just that he is going through a lot in his personal life right now? People always point to how happy he looked with Deepika or Katrina but that was without present circumstances. I don't think Alia would still be with him if he was genuinely miserable in the relationship, even if this was for PR, notice how this actually hurts Alia image being with him as everyone mocks her due to Ranbir always looking like he is dissociating around her (which I think he may well be doing, just not because of Alia.) Alia must know what he is going thru and is still with him despite the mocking because she knows the truth that we may not. His father has been undergoing treatment for cancer, a man who has always had a rocky relationship with, but he still knows as dad, that now he might lose forever and have to be strong for his mom and sister. I think he has been with Alia since around Rishi got cancer. That's a lot for a family to go through. I say we give Ranbir a break for not smiling all the time, he probably has a lot of things and emotions going on. He hasn't said he is depressed, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he is though. And before someone @ me by attaching a recent pic of Ranbir smiling or looking happy, I am referring to the fact that lately Ranbir just hasn't been doing it as much. Just food for thought.
