so for me she isnt wrong in loving kartik enough to think and want him to be happy...

Naira pretending to be dead was the worst in all of that...(not manish dadi anyone just naira)

Kartik knows himself best and should have said no...Its not like he hasnt refused dadi before i remember her getting sick during the whole divorce and he still did it... so yeah...

@bold red Not defending her or anything but she did not pretended to be dead. Because she ran away in anger which anyone would do she wanted time ...she got that...she got lost...and when she came back she saw that they assumed her dead she went to tell kartik but then she heard about mihir and kartik talking . Thus her thoughts were that if she was Dead and kartik still talks about her like that. And when she came back ...she went to stop the marriage and she was the one who heard kartik talking about how he wanted this for himself. Thus she didnt bother to stop the marriage.

She didnt pretend to be dead...if this was the case...then she would have made it seem and staged it all. I blamed her till a point but the behaviour of singhanias and goenkas towards her after a point started bothering me.

@bold black ... she has shown no emotion of loving him . Not a single conversation was shown which indicated that she loved him....just because kartik owned her father for saving his life he felt it was his responsibility (which kdadi repeatedly told him) and thus he married her. Also when you love a person are you so blind to see the emotional blackmail family did to kartik ?

She lied for years...and if she ddn think they thought she was literally dead then why did she change her name etc...to keep up the farce sure this is a plot hole...But for her to leave her family who are faultless she is wrong...

And she was behaving like a ping pong ball one minute i love u kartik the next its better we are apart...no i need to show kairav to dadi ...no i dont naira was all over the place there was no clear direction in her emotions or actions

Second @....I was referring to dadi loving kartik not vedika ...she loves kartik and wanted him to be happy so hence she thought marriage would be the best bet

@bold KD really love Kartik?...she kept repeating she doesn't want to die before seeing parpota that's why she want Kartik to remarry Vedika (I can provide link to episode or scenes too)...forceful marriages are rarely successful...I've seen elders like KD...she is right in saying Naira chose her path herself...she deserted Kartik years ago and was wrong in doing so...but KD was wrong in forcing Kartik to remarry...knowing he can't get out of his depressed state...infact will depress other person too....hoping for bright future isn't wrong...but forcefully preparing someone in that 10% hope is like taking away their right to decide by his/her rational mind...as I've experienced elders like KD...I've seen 4 examples of failed marriages around me including my own where elders forced children to get married...one marriage ended after 16 years of husband and wife separating, fighting, reuniting for children not by their wish but on elder's insistence...finally divorcing each other...loveless marriages suffocates people...and elders no matter how much we owe them can't force adults to get married by emotional blackmailing or feigning sickness...but that happens in real life too...and results in failed marriages most of the times...one of the person I personally know who was forced to stay in loveless marriage by his father is now been taken to mental asylum...when Kartik clarified till the last moment to MG "He can't let go of Naira"....why didn't MG stop marriage?....why he still let it happen?

@red for me KD letting the granddaughter Keerti get abused by husband because of business deal...letting Mansi the child get sexually abused and her innocence and childhood being taken away....Manish and Akhil framing Kashyap to save Mansi...Manish-KD trying to take Naira for illegal sex determination...and food adulteration to change baby's gender...Shubham being deprived of education, family, basic necessities for 19 years that also without any solid reason...Naira being termed Shubham's murderer slapped and thrown out of house...were worst of all....regardless of anything these were the worst instances....Let's say Naira can get into legal trouble for faking her death...but what is the proof she faked her death? her family considered her dead the very next day without even finding her dead body...did she placed her dead body herself? rather than faking death she deserted them all...which has no punishment from legal perspective (as far as I know)...abandonment can be a reason to file for divorce but there is no punishment for abandonment unless the abandoned one is minor child...and she didn't abandon her child...though she wasn't a good mother or a responsible mother...but she tried to raise the child regardless of the question that haunted her...whatever she did was wrong or beyond wrong...and most easiest thing to do...but Singhanias would have let her stay at their place without repeatedly compelling her reunite with her husband for child's sake?....what she did can't be justified...but it is surely not worst of all...

PS: Kartik and Naira are immature...but their families rarely understood them or rarely tried to be there for them...for me immature Kaira are way above their mature ever understanding, supportive and most of all considerate family members...They have potential to be a good couple in terms of understanding and maturity if writers stop cashing on their emotional breakdowns, confrontations or fights after separation phase...

I feel Karthik and Naira have no moral compass. I don't know what else to say. It is wrong to put Vedika in this situation and seeing Naira fasting for Karthik well it just seem so wrong. It comes across as she is backstabbing Vedika. It looks like she is taking advantage of Vedika's kindness in allowing her to stay at the Goenka home. In a way maybe these two deserve each other because they are two of kind. Very selfish people that have put their family and Vedika through a lot of emotional trauma. For this reason I have lost interest in this couple as they have been a true disappointment as far as being good human beings.

I couldn't feel bad for Vedika even if I see from neutral perspective...because for me Vedika's emotions are least explored or are confusing....I don't think she loves Kartik as she is never shown confessing that she loves Kartik...what she feels for Kartik is infatuation...which was felt by Gayu...Vedika is only shown admiring Kartik's love for Naira...also she was shown wishing for 1/2 love of Kartik's love for Naira...she has an image of Kartik in her mind without understanding who Kartik actually is...she has made up her mind regarding Kartik and his love for Naira...even after knowing that Kartik accused Naira of infidelity she still want "half" of that love?....Any sensible person on knowing the backstory behind that love or guilt would somehow back off...any girl with self respect would never like her husband showing zero interest in her...

@bold when I see the episodes I could only see Naira and Kartik's emotional trauma or breakdown scenes...I can't see Vedika emotional trauma or breakdown...the way Kartik and Naira keep having breakdowns every episode...I could only see she sat down with thud and told family with her usual expressions "I think I've replaced Naira she must be feeling bad but she doesn't tell anyone"...than goes to Naira and told her an entirely different story...."I'm having my teej"....rather don't pretend to understand Naira's pain infront of family...or if you pretended to understand her pain...don't rub it on her face saying I've my teej...what was the purpose behind reminding Naira that she has her teej?...

@red did you ever like Kaira?...Which character is a good selfless human being except Vansh in the show?...gone are those days when ML and FL have to be devi and devta...Kartik and Naira are flawed characters...but major concern is they are characters with no character growth...because CVs don't let them grow in order to show infinite separations...Previous leads were more mature....they were never morally wrong or were never wrong in their actions and decisions specifically FL....they had normal and more realistic healthy relationship and growth because writers explored other characters their stories and other relationships...here in case of Kaira...other characters and couples have no parallel storyline or other relationships are not explored properly...like Singhanias bonding with Naira isn't explored in a proper way...

Does Naira still refer to herself as Naira Goenka?

If she herself no longer considers herself his wife then why keep this name and not refer herself as Naira Singhania?

Kartik and Naira's crimes are surely not bigger than KD, Manish, Akhilesh, Suwarna's crimes...two wrongs don't make a right...can't justify their actions as said before too regardless of how nobody understands them...their actions can't be jusitfied...but if they stay away from their families they might have a peaceful life with their child...KD must throw Kartik and Naira out of house seeing them cheating on Vedika....afterwards she must hire a lawyer...who can possibly clarify Vedika is not Kartik's legal wife....when they are not lawfully wedded husband and wife...how can Kartik divorce her?...after that regressive Goenkas and Singhanias can be relieved as their daughter won't be called divorcee and will be accepted by society and they can easily get her married...KD, Manish, Akhilesh, Suwarna, Badi Dadi and Choti Dadi can than prepare for Vedika's marriage with someone who will love her...Kartik-Naira and Kairav can live in Kaira's old flat...or anywhere else...

@bold red. I know love is defined in different ways...but kdadi is literally a person who has hated naira... from the moment she found that she ran away from home to this point. She doesnt like rebellious girls ...thus her love for vedika because she does hanji hanji hanji everytime. She was the one who put doubts in kartiks mind...ni matter how mature you are but when your families oldest person fills your ears ...you will not pick it up once or twice but after that..you start picking up and listening to her. Kdadi was the one closest to kartik before manish n swrna became close. She literally said that naira is a girl and a girl should never become successfulthen men...she wanted naira to think about kartiks feelings while they both were working. That is not love.

That is controlling. When you use your health as an excuse to get a grandchild when you know that man has not yet forgotten or still weeps. How can anyone in right mind force a wedding by emotional blackmailing. ?

@bold blue - what did they ever do for her ? No one stood up once when swrna threw her out. Naksh became jealous when natik was with naira. Keerti blamed her for the problems in her relationship. They literally would have sent her back. To whom she is supposed to go. We cannot forget that keerti is daughter in law of that house. Everyone else is blamed and forgiven but naira is not. I dont support her running away.... but they all literally danced in front of her naksh was dancing with kartik like there was no tomorrow after swrna threw her out. Not a single person took stand.

Also they sent vedika shagun....like ok you accepted vedika..its fine...but now naira is alive....she is breathing in front of you and you still come on teej...and gift things to vedika ? On her face....? Which family does that. ?
