Who else is bored of movies about patriotism, social issues etc.?

Don't get me wrong...if it's well done it can be great (Swades, RNB etc.) but these days it feels like it's just a trend that everyone latches onto. Everyone gets some biopic about an important person, shoves some heavy handed patriotism into it and it's a success.

Akshay's filmography is basically just that for the past 5 years and it just feels repetitive and lazy. Most movies of this type are forgettable anyway

And I'm not saying I want more dumb masala movies instead or that it should stop completely, just more variety would be good.

Me me me. I want good love stories, thrillers and masala instead of social message movies. I don’t watch any social movies because I can get my social messages in the news,YouTube and they are too boring for me.

I watch movies for entertainment and now avoid akshay kumar movies and aamir khan movies. I enjoy movies by Ayushmann Khurrana and any Masala or thriller or love stories.

Yawnnn the same trick wont work every time. John and Akshay need to calm down

These patriotic movies aren't even well made. They are ten levels of CRINGE! Some moments are straight up embarrassing. Akki, John, etc really need to calm down with them.

That's why I'm actually really excited about War.... Hot guys, great action, and maybe some good music. I don't mind nonsense storyline if it's presented well.

Bollywood hasn't made a really good love story in a while. Its currently missing that.

Love stories don't seem popular anymore compared to the 90's-2000's. And if we get some they are usually shitty like JHMS
