I watched 'Lights Out' and Gothika last night.

'Lights Out' was a one time good watch like with most horror movies. The plus point was the jump scares, otherwise its pretty been there done that run of the mill horror. But I did enjoy the jump scares as i do like to get scared when watching horror movies as that's what it's supposed to do at the end of the day, scare you.

The lady figure with 'lights out' was very scary indeed. Had my heart racing and nearly jumping out it's socket at some points.

Gothika plot twist I figured right from the word go. It was kinda made pretty obvious with the way Miranda's hubby was portrayed with that eerie sinister air about him. (Sorry silenters-bit of a major spoiler there lol.)

There were a lot of plot holes and a huge chunk of it made no sense as there was no logic, but hey, is there ever any logic in horror movies. Lol.

But Gothika did really take the take and cherry on top in surpassing that illogical se upar illogical bracket. 😳

However having said that, I did enjoy some bits even tho I did find myself dosing off during most of it. 😆So had to wake myself up, make cuppa chai and rewind back to the bits that I dosed off at. 😆

Lol. Didn't dislike the movie completely as such. But when you have an array of big names attached, the expectation bar rises a lil higher I suppose. 😆
