Abhi was considered to play one of the six brothers of the male lead. Initially SRK and Salman were rumored to be the male lead.

It's been like 17 years since MPKDH. He's a much more polished actor so he'll deffo be better. There must be a reason why Farah chose him.

Hrithik does tend to go OTT when doing comedy. Kind of like SRK. So this movie can be full on cringe.

I suspect he’s doing this because it’s a Rohit Shitty directorial and Hrithik like everyone else wants his 200 or 300 cr blockbuster. Also the last Amitabh Bachchan remake worked out pretty well for him but again that wasn’t a comedy.

Is it really true that Abhishek was offered a role of one of his brothers? Ouch!! The brothers are very supporting roles and since there’s 6 of them none get a big part. Was it Farah or Rohit who thought it was smart to relegate Abhishek as one of Hrithik’s six sidekicks?
