That is true. 😆
Oh Minnie knows this for sure. She may not voice it but it is seen through her actions. For deeply, sensitive issues, she now goes to Mickey for advice rather than Preet. I suppose it's good for them both in a way. Minnie knows where Preet stands as a friend while Preet is there to tell Minnie when she starts becoming unfair to others.
Yup! Mickey fears his father and I don't think he has the courage to go against him. Him looking up to HS wouldn't necessarily erase that fear but I think it will give him the opportunity to understand the way a father thinks. Or just how different HS is as a man as opposed to his own dad and what kind of person does Mickey want to be? What sort of options does he have for his own future? Does he need to compromise with his life or is it possible for him to achieve his own dreams while keeping his family happy at the same time?
I don't know if what she felt for him initially was love but there was definitely something there since she agreed to being his friend. That being said, along with Minnie, Mickey too is growing as an individual. He's maturing as a person and I think she's starting to appreciate that a lot.
That's something that I don't understand. They're opposed to dating varna ladki jaldi pregnant ho jayegi, and when someone gets married, they'll be like ab jaldi baache laa do. Like, what??? 😕
I agree! This is an ideology that at times I struggle with myself. There are some things that I wish to do for myself but I refrain because of this "log kya kahenge". And more so than society / outsiders, it's the judgment from family and relatives that terrifies me the most.
I really hope they don't do that. I don't want Minnie to be put in that "sautan" status in any shape or form. They touched on this a little bit in yesterday's episode when Naeem Bi told Babes to stop blaming herself for her failed marriage. She wouldn't have been able to stop Ashok even if she wanted to. I do agree with your stance on EMAs though. Yes, in some cases it's the fault of the other woman, but a large portion of that blame falls on the one who's in a committed relationship.
Now that I think about it, they touched on this via Minnie-Mickey-Preet as well when Minnie video called Preet to let her know that she's with Mickey. Preet didn't think much of it while Mickey knew exactly why she made that call. I think Minnie is very conscious of her relationship with Mickey, especially when they're alone.
