Always remember this is a story written by someone/a group , who are able to change it whenever they want .

Why I think Preet and Mickey not serious relationship - because there have not been any scene exclusively devoted to them - which means ultimately writers are not interested to show them together .

Minnie 's monologue with diary indicates what we might have in future:

1. Minnie will realize her love for Mickey

2. She will try to hide it so not to hurt Preet

3. She will suffer because of the above

4. There may be some sort of incidence where she might have to choose between Hanuman-Dad and Mickey

Besides, the actor doing Mickey's role is getting quite popular and appreciated hence his role will gain more importance .

Yes, I agree about NB being able to enlighten her. You know, I feel as if the timing is good because HS and Babita might be a bit busier with one another once they get married and Minnie might get a bit less attention, so it's good if NB is around her. She got a positive male role model in the form of HS, now she needs a positive female role model too who teaches her how to view the world with an open mind and heart and live without fear. It's like she's totally becoming part of her father's side of the family and ironic that none of them are related by blood, yet it all seems so natural.

I don't think I could handle it either if something were to happen to Minnie. She has developed so wonderfully in recent weeks. I can't even imagine how devastated HS is going to be, as is NB. I still remember the way HS was in tears during lodhi and couldn't control himself when he saw her crying, and that was really early on.

Hain na??

She is literally glowing now-a-days with all sorts of maturity and sensitivity.

I mean she is the girl who still has insecurities, sharp tongue, possessiveness, abandonment issue, anger issue - but she is so bravely handling everything despite all those.

I never knew i would be this much comfortable watching a kid interfering everywhere in her parents life but whenever minni is there,i feel so happy.

Childhood friend or not, I’m sure deep down mini would know that when she was at her lowest point, preet wasn’t there for her. In fact preet was making things worse for her at college.

Very well written I also agree that I got the feel that mickey looks up to hs and therefore will pick up some good qualities from him. From what he spoke of his father they seem to have more of a “do as I say” relationship.

I actually think mini’s feelings might have been there all the time but her anger cos of ashok made her not recognise it, and now that she’s seen a man who’s different, she’s perhaps seeing mickey in a different light.

With regards to ppl having an issue about her dating, I also wondered the same. I took it mean that it’s perhaps older folk who equate dating to soon getting married before something like the girls falling pregnant happens (the “what would ppl say” generations 😲😃)

Ps I love how this show pushes boundaries on society and what they say. I’m a firm believer that a person shouldn’t live for the gossips and whether you do good or bad, ppl will always have something to say about u. I love mini’s attitude on this topic. The fact is no1 outside ones family Has a right to an opinion on your life so they should stop being given that right.

BOLD- ikr! In a world full of crappy men, when u find a good one who can also be a friend, he should not be let go.

I wonder if they’d show the “other woman” perspective thru mini? Like maybe how it’s not that women go around seducing men, it’s only men who are not committed that allow themselves to fall for someone else? Too often the Mita’s Are blamed when it’s Actually the one in the relationship to be blamed

That is true. 😆

Oh Minnie knows this for sure. She may not voice it but it is seen through her actions. For deeply, sensitive issues, she now goes to Mickey for advice rather than Preet. I suppose it's good for them both in a way. Minnie knows where Preet stands as a friend while Preet is there to tell Minnie when she starts becoming unfair to others.

Yup! Mickey fears his father and I don't think he has the courage to go against him. Him looking up to HS wouldn't necessarily erase that fear but I think it will give him the opportunity to understand the way a father thinks. Or just how different HS is as a man as opposed to his own dad and what kind of person does Mickey want to be? What sort of options does he have for his own future? Does he need to compromise with his life or is it possible for him to achieve his own dreams while keeping his family happy at the same time?

I don't know if what she felt for him initially was love but there was definitely something there since she agreed to being his friend. That being said, along with Minnie, Mickey too is growing as an individual. He's maturing as a person and I think she's starting to appreciate that a lot.

That's something that I don't understand. They're opposed to dating varna ladki jaldi pregnant ho jayegi, and when someone gets married, they'll be like ab jaldi baache laa do. Like, what??? 😕

I agree! This is an ideology that at times I struggle with myself. There are some things that I wish to do for myself but I refrain because of this "log kya kahenge". And more so than society / outsiders, it's the judgment from family and relatives that terrifies me the most.

I really hope they don't do that. I don't want Minnie to be put in that "sautan" status in any shape or form. They touched on this a little bit in yesterday's episode when Naeem Bi told Babes to stop blaming herself for her failed marriage. She wouldn't have been able to stop Ashok even if she wanted to. I do agree with your stance on EMAs though. Yes, in some cases it's the fault of the other woman, but a large portion of that blame falls on the one who's in a committed relationship.

Now that I think about it, they touched on this via Minnie-Mickey-Preet as well when Minnie video called Preet to let her know that she's with Mickey. Preet didn't think much of it while Mickey knew exactly why she made that call. I think Minnie is very conscious of her relationship with Mickey, especially when they're alone.

We are sadly wrongly taught that other people’s opinions on our lives matter. Just like how ppl are taught that older ppl can’t be wrong or make mistakes because they’re “elder”. Hopefully the current millennial generation will teach their kids otherwise. For too long have the gossip mongers of society (friends/families or community) been in control.

It’s interesting how mini hasn’t been conscious of being with Mickey before this past week. I think she would have probably had a nervous breakdown if it weren’t for mickey because babita, even tho she calls mini her best friend, isn’t there for mini like how mini is there for her. Or so I think

Very positive message by the makers. This story is about both mother-daughter how their destinies converge and diverge.

@bold, same here.

mickey preet are not in a serious relationship. they are what 18 -19 and kids at that age dont get into committed relationships. preet had an infatuation on mickey like she has at most boys and mickey said yes to her because he wanted to give it a try. teenagers do try out relationships at this age. Not everyone is perfect for each other and this is what is discovered through dating.

i dont think if mickey-mini happens mini becomes the other woman.

As long as the 3 are honest to each other it should be fine

mickey mini are more in tune with each other than mickey - preet. they would be better life partners & im not taking into aspect the romantic attraction here.

Mini has shown to be apt at hiding her feelings and showing a different side so i doubt even if she feels something for mickey she wont accept it or even act on it. It took her so long to call out babita on the jewellery return , not taking alimony & her slapping her. It has to be mickey who has to feel that he still has feelings for mini and preet is not the one for him.
