I don't think marriage or pregnancy are trends. They are very important life decisions that people put a lot of thought and effort into.

This isn't true in the US... or in India. Parents get Indian kids married like they are making halwa everyday... and in the US, people get pregnant easily. The rate Hispanic women are having babies... whites will be a minority in few years.
