Salman wanted to make changes to script which SLB did not agree with most probably. Salman is known to make changes to the scripts, not the first time he wanted something changed. Others let him make the changes whereas SLB did not give in to his demands most likely.

But but according to the source “salman didn’t insist any changes in the script...he and slb amicably decided not to do this now” thus makes sense ki he didn’t want to interfere and want slb to do the film he wants to make...

This movie sounded disaster from get go, Salman and Slb saved themselves.
