Sonam's outspokenness does her no favours. It earns her the haters which the likes of Katrina and Ash don't have because they play it safe by keeping it diplomatic. (They do have haters but of a different kind).

Sonam has piss poor delivery and just dame three expressions though, that has nothing to do with hate though.

Also, I'm one who has never thought that Sonaskhi was such a great actress because if she has one Lootera then Sonam has a Neerja and Raanjhanaa. (I have mentioned the movies in which people generally liked their performances).

Sonakshi isn't a great actress for me either, but Neerja and Ranjhana were decent performances. Sonakshi was also individually acclaimed for Akira, Dabangg , Ittefaq and Noor. So it isn't like she only acted well in one movie.

Sonakshi's problem was she was typed in the Rowdy Rathore type roles, and lost her relevancy and by the time she tried something new, she was down the hill already.

The problem with sonakshi is that even when she would try something like a lootera, noor, or akira..it did not bring in the numbers. So, most of her films are rowdy rathore types because thats what she has been most successful with. I would still say she is a very good actress. But she is just not appreciated in roles where she can show some versatility. To me Sonakshi is a way better actress, esp in roles where she can deliver. The likes of shraddha, katrina, or sonam would struggle in most of these so called women centric films. Although, I did enjoy neerja, but more for its execution.

Recently was watching ELKDTAL. And I was pulling my hair whenever Sonam came onscreen. She looks good, lekin acting is 🤢

To make matters worse, Anil Kapoor acts so well, whenever her scene would follow his I'd get tortured even more. I think that movie could've been slightly better with a better actress. Correction, an actress who had even an iota of acting skills...

I'm not saying every single person voting for Sonam is disingenuous. Just saying there's a fair amount of people voting against her because of her offscreen persona.
