I also feel bad for Saeeda. She's such a sweet woman! Though isn't Natasha Ali too young to play a chachi to such old girls? 😅 Me and my mum also feel that the actor playing Wajahat also looks too young to be Hooriya and Minhal's father.

@Bold How will it work out for her? The poor girl is so unfortunate. It's only inevitable that they'll turn her negative. Both the guys she could've possibly ended up with wiĺl marry other women.

I am curious though as to how Suraiya will tolerate the fact that her daughter's marriage was called off because of Hooriya. I think Suraiya will also turn negative.

PS: Balaj's reaction to the marriage news was exactly as I had expected. He was slightly surprised but had no problem with it. I also think that the Amber and Balaj marriage angle will last longer than I had expected. We have episode 6 coming up and there's still Faiq to deal with.

Poor Amber. I want it to work out for her and hope she doesn't get bitter and evil. While I don't think Faiq is the love of life etc etc, you can't help but feel sorry for how limited her life is. I also felt bad for Wajahat's second wife, she seems lovely, but he's not very nice to her. I get that losing his daughters and the woman he loved broke his heart and he can't help it, but he's unnecessarily unkind to Saeeda.

Hopefully this is the end of Danish and his mother, lol.

I was late watching Wednesday's episode and while I enjoyed the absolutely unrealistic scenes where people kept bumping into each, the fight between Hooriya and Balaaj was absolutely ridiculous and contrived. My dad for some weird reason happens to be around whenever the Balaaj/Hooriya scenes are on and he's been imitating Hooriya's "ay ay kahan" from the second episode every time he sees her/ hears her voice, so at least Hooriya's character is giving someone joy, LMAO.

I think danishs mom might change her mind coz there is some shaadi type scene with the sisters where hooriya and him are all flirty while faiq is also there and bumps into minhal. I guess its the calm before the storm with amber balaj wedding on one side and hooriya danish being hopeful about their future and bam the girls are discovered at the last minute and taken to haveli.

You're right! We've been puzzling over who's wedding it was and it's probably some kind of engagement thing for Hooriya and Danish. Ouch.

It's very irresponsible of Malik Sarkar to allow the Amber/Balaaj wedding to go on when he's still looking for Hooriya in the background. He's very inconsiderate to how Amber would feel about this. I do wonder what Amber's mother is planning on blackmailing her with. I also wondered if Amber's absence in later scenes is because she dies somehow.

Balaaj's reaction about the wedding was weird. I don't know. Does he honestly doesn't think he can say no if he wanted to?

@Bold I completely agree! If he's announced the marriage already (quite irresponsibly too) then he should've gone through with it completely! It's very unfair to Amber. No one cares about this girl at all except for Balaj.

Also, how was Balaj's reaction weird? I think it's exactly how we expected it. A little surprised because how sudden all this was and then he had no problem with it. I do feel like he could've easily said no because MS had given him full freedom. Also, Balaj himself cares about Amber so much that he would never ruin her life by marrying her when doesn't want to.

We were having the same conversation at our place too lol. It's more jarring because all the other parents look like they're a similar older age (even his first wife) and then you have Wajahat and Saeeda who look like they should be chasing after a ten year old. It's weird because he was believable as Iqra's dad in Suno Chanda.

I liked the conversation where Saeeda asked him if there would be another baghawat in the household. Its all very forshadow-y about Balaaj challenging MS.

I totally think surraiya will become negative, and the fact that Balaaj seems to love and respect her so much, it'll be very easy for her to spread misunderstandings between Balaaj and Hooriya when their relationship will already be so tumultuous.

Hm. Maybe I read too much into his general deference to MS and Mrs. MS. There is an element of him being indebted to them. I think you're right that he wouldn't refuse unless he had a reason to. And he realises he's going to marry someone so why not Amber. I'd like some natural explanation for him to accept the change in brides because he's been pretty aware of Amber's feelings. Does he agree to marry Hooriya just because he wants to have control over her.

It's funny tho, for all his complaining about city girls and them being educated, I personally feel Amber is too sophisticated for him, not Hooriya (who seems to have more of the wild MS family temper). You could see it in her dad too these last two episodes. Before he came off as a mild mannered, soft spoken man but this week you could see he was related to MS.

Balaj does feel indebted to them but even more than that he has genuine love and respect for MS and Suraiya. He actually does believe them to be his parents and is a dutiful son.

I think Balaj would've only refused if he thought he couldn't do justice to the marriage and Amber. @Bold I agree. We do need a proper explanation. Amber and Balaj's equation will definitely change post the marriage scenario. I don't think they'll be the same to each other.

In Hooriya's case, Balaj just doesn't care lol. We have to wait and watch but I feel like in Hooriya's case the key point would be whether MS will give Balaj the same freedom he did when he put forth Amber's marriage proposal in front of him. If MS orders Balaj to marry her (which I think will definitely happen) then he has no choice unlike in Amber's case where he had full freedom to say no. Remember, we've seen MS' ugly side too.

I think what Balaj meant when he said that he doesn't like city girls is that he doesn't like outspoken, rude, loud and egositical girls like Hooriya lol. Amber is actually the kind of girl he does like, he said it himself that the "you know how to stay in your limits" i.e. she's soft spoken, obedient and sophisticated. He said the same thing for all the women in his family whether it be Saeeda or Bibi Jaan. We know all the women in the house are quiet, submissive and sophisticated.

@bold true i want to see him at least struggle a little against MS's decision to marry him off to hooria. From the promos he seemed really smug when he is talking to hooria abt their marriage. Theres this one scene where hooria is in white dress and hes telling her that she belongs to him and totally checking her out from top to bottom in a creepy way. I think they will probably show him agreeing to marry hooria coz he wants to teach her a lesson apart from the fact that he's ordered by MS.

Oh and saeeda doesnt deserve how her husband treats her. She is such a sweet person. Its not her fault that he lost his wife and daughters he doesnt need to make her feel miserable all the time. I think this is one of the things they want to ahow in the drama that when ur a part of the feudal system u have to make do with whatever or whoever you are handed in marriage. I hope saeeda one day gives it back to him like his first wife did..

@Bold The primary reason for Balaj marrying Hooriya will be the fact that MS has ordered him to do so. He will enjoy torturing and controlling her but all that is secondary. Balaj won't be given the freedom to say no in that case.

As for the promo about B & H marriage, they've obviously hyped it up to engage audiences. The whole revenge and love-hate story.
