This is why this proposal is so special. It didn't need all those extra fancy things. It only involved elements that meant the most to them. That's why the underlying feels are felt so deeply by not just the characters but the audience as well. We understand where they all stand, the reasoning behind their actions and the immense love they all have for each other.

Totally agree. Glad they stuck to their signature style.

And in that scene it made perfect sense that Babita would do it, in the way that she knows best. This is the right kind of feminism that we want to see.

Also fabulous to see men like HS who have no qualms about being proposed to by women. It takes nothing away from their masculinity or from the woman's femininity.

Yes, that proposal was loaded with so many meanings and layers of emotions from their first interaction to now. I had once said that the only way she was coming back was as makaan malkin and that's what's happening here. It feels so natural.
