I agree. She should have introduced a female lead since before. Why give all these hints. The audience knows already that they are destined to be but fate won't let them be together. They keep repeating this mantra throughout the episodes. The more petrol you add to the fire the higher the flames will soar. Instead of showing all these anurag and prerna scenes. Show anurag getting revenge or something else.
