Thanks!

I will try to do that. Mammo the title itself brings curiosity and then there's Zubeidaa.😎 I would actually love to watch all three because the maker must have thought something to present it that way. ☺️

Loved Karishma in Zubeidaa she portrayed the role so beautifully with the right emotions of innocence, guilt, anger and jealousy. She made quite an impact and looked absolutely beautiful.

Karisma, Manoj and Rekha were phenomenal in this movie. I don't think it was way ahead of its time. I remember the film receiving a lot of critical acclaim, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. The narration really slows down after she gets married and 1st time and before Manoj's character enters.

It's an amazing film by all means, inspirational and moving. every actor and moment is priceless..

the only problem i had in the film...that why does Amrish Puri does not take any action against Zubi the time she decides to go against his will, esp when he had been creating chaos for her since the beginning of the movie and dominating her actions. how did he give up so easily and let her go...there was no explanation. that was the only part where i felt the film lacked.

otherwise, the film's totally flawless and one of the best works of indian cinema.

Mammo is basically rizwans (zubeidaas son) childhood with his granny.

Rizwan is actually the famous critic Khalid Mohammed. His mom was Zubeidaa it's a true story. Shyam benegal made the trilogy.

Imp : Zubeidaa was the final in the line of triology of women centric films led by khalid mohammed and shyam benegal.

Between Mammo and Zubeidaa, they made Sardari Begum which is also based on a true story and what a film this one is 👏 powerpacked performances by kirron kher, amrish puri rajeshwari sachdev and the entire cast.

story of a thumri singer who fights against all odds of the society for her identity. a golden hearted woman who's misunderstood by everyone who knows her..amazing songs, great feel. not to be missed at all
