Gone are the days of international sceneries and beautiful locations with gorgeous clothes

It seems like now films about the rich and fancy are not clicking with audiences

Even most “content” based films usually show poor people or middle class like Badhai Ho, Gully Boy, Super 30 etc

Why someone would watch gully boy over Dil dhadkne do is beyond me

I sometimes miss the glamour and Switzerland songs, l kinda miss it but not in a deep way

people like realistic cinema now

its always a trend, 1950s-60s were quiet classy films.

70s became - action and OTT like Sholay

80s again with amol palekar, it was realistic cinema

90s - family movies sanskaar types or Switzerland grand OTT like SLB

After 2005 I think its been mixed bag..

but now realistic cinema and content is winning.

I feel people will eventually get bored of this too and again move to filmy cinema

Because there's no conflict, emotion and story. The only problem they have is lub.

Sanju was story of rich spoilt brat. Was shot in New York and South Africa. Ended up being blockbuster and HGOTY.

Nope. That movie was a hit because he's a terrorist and people were interested in his drugs, affairs and illegal criminality life

You were making a false claim(like always) that movies on rich people are not working,...and I proved it false by giving example of Sanju. Whatever be the reason, audience was still interested in seeing problems of a rich guy.

People didnt go to see Sanju about his rich life or his glamorous life. They went to see it because Sanju was a terrorist and people wanted to know all about his paapi life.

I am referring to films like for example - Dil Dhadkne Do, Dilwale etc . No one seems to be interested in the glamorous songs/ exotic locations anymore.

Thanks.
