The only conclusive "proof" I hear of atrocities in Kashmir right now is the communications being shut down. Any article written by the columnists in US and UK (and all you have to see is who is writing them and who owns the agencies publishing the columns to know their agenda) only talks about communication blackout and then throws around words such as "genocide" of Kashmiri Muslims. They are literally talking like as if the army is going on some murderous rampage in the state right now.

This is blatant lies and the worst kind of misinformation and fear mongering. There is not a SHRED of proof of anything of such sort.

Oh and seriously, if cutting off internet and phone lines is equal to atrocities and genocide for them, I wanna laugh. What was expected? An open pathway to organize stone pelting mobs?

I totally disagree when arguments are made that it is only the government's responsibility to win the hearts of the kashmiri muslims. It has to go both ways. Because guess what, you can't have it both ways - talk about oppression and azaadi and how you had it the worst as citizens of this country when 370 was on, and now speak like as if the place was paradise and the likes of mufti and Abdullahs were gods gift to the valley now that 370 and 35 a is made redundant.

Maybe work with the government instead of pelting rocks, deifying terrorists who encourage you to blow yourselves up and keep hoping that the government will grant you azaadi like treating the valley as a piece of cake to be cut off and distributed?

Pakistani people are not responsible for what the Pakistani govt/army does to innocents in living in Pakistan. They can still condemn the wrongs happening in India too. This whataboutery has to goddamn stop.

@bold The Indians in this forum don't have to feel compelled to shut up and implicitly agree with their opinion of everything that is happening in Kashmir. Replying back with arguments isn't the same as bullying the Pakistani members.

The Pakistani members have practically implied that anyone, be it in the forum or a Priyanka Chopra is not a good human being for not conforming to their views about Kashmir. So spare me the victimhood.

Lulz I usually stay away from such topics b I don't agree who tu cougartowns views of minorities being treated better in pak... but the diff is, in India yogi openly spewing hate speech against Muslims is made CM, modi under wHose watch the gujrat massacre happened is made PM twice (now tell me which countries citizen are complacent in taking sides with murderers) uhano rapist walking free despite evidence, cow vigilantes being caught on tape are walking free, ram mandir riots govt keeps quiet ulta police helping the mobs, the ppl caught on videos are roaming free still to this day. Video n photographic evidence of pallet guns used on faces of Kashmiris. Bjp electives telling men they should gang rape Muslim women. Bjp elect talking about fair Kashmiri women like they are cattle

Pakistan has its own set of issues, but members here act like pious pure India does nothing n Pakistan is the big bad wolf.

One minister in Pakistan called Hindus idol worshippers, and he was sacked the very next day. But I guess acc to members here he should have been promoted. Despite pressure from religious dolts, the most famous case of blasphemy abuser was hanged. And a minister preferred taking billet while speaking against people abusing blasphemy laws. No minister here can give rape n death threats to minorities and still stay in power. But over here they are made PMs. So take a seat before telling us that we support terrorists when can simply point out that our neighbors elect mass murderers

I usually try to not take part in such discussions cause this hateful garbage is mostly spewed by 5-7 members only. And this sort of hateful speech has mostly come to surface (at least on IF) in past 1.5-2 years. Much similar to trump supporters who are not afraid to show their bias n hateful views.

In the end I'll like to say just one thing. The only people who benefit from eliciting such fear and hatred are the people in power. They are profiting off this hatred n divide

Not much different from the mods who let such topics run for pages and pages and only lock after milking all the traffic and views. Where we have seen in past that some topics even when related to BW but maybe are against mods faves are banned right there
