She's not saying she's gonna turn a blind eye but that she prefers to get a better understanding of the situation before sharing her opinion.

Anyways, isn't it what people usually have against her ? That she talks without getting an understanding of the situation ?

I watched the whole interview and didn't hear anything justifying the title. She didn't say she will turn a blind eye. She just hopes for a peaceful solution and that is what majority of Indians hope for.

And for once. I liked her stance..Being in public eye don't take a side till u don't know the truth of the situation.

If she says she supports government's stand she will be accused of war mongering like PC. If she says it's wrong she will be labelled anti national. People r actually waiting for her to falter.

Look at the way her answer is twisted to make a headline

what she means is that due to lack of clear knowledge she will rather stay quiet..and that makes sense

no one supports what is happening in kashmir right now..no one with a spine will do that..and sonam does seem the sort whose humanity is greater than her patriotism..she was one of the only ones who tweeted for peace when so called surgical strike was happening..so i will give her the benefit of the doubt here..may be she did not articulate well

also the way she was cursed and called anti national after her tweet early this year..you know she will think twice before speaking on these matters..at least she accepts what is happening in kashmir is unfortunate..at least she has humanity in her unlike others like priyanka..
