Can I be honest? This might sound really cynical but some shows and this one is no exception, is created just to jump on the remake bandwagon and cash in on the nostalgia. Sure few things might’ve worked back in early 2000’s but this one has no character development.. and they know exactly what sells and they’d just go with it instead of trying to make Prerna a little more relatable woman. They don’t even try creating something new.
Of course you can be honest, you should be honest. I agree completely with you about the nostalgia bandwagon. Truly! Some things did work great in 2000 and they should absolutely reboot it in the true sense of the word! We are living in an era of Chipkalis dayans, nagins chudails ruling TRP charts! I don’t see any logic in anything anymore. That’s why I spare myself the horror of emotional distress of trying to find difference. I watch it till it hooks me and moves on.
Let me give you some idea about conceptualisation. Every creative concept is done with heart and soul. Maybe our hearts try to find logic and theirs try to play safe and harness the nostalgia. But still, they are attached to their creation. That’s why I said everyone puts their heart and soul. Sensibility might be different.
Makers try the tested formulas because TRPs are self explanatory. Sometimes exceptional things do work, then that’s a rare case. Check out any TRP stopper. Nothing really makes sense. So I keep my hopes as low as possible. Made peace with it long back 🤪

Yup, she has to realize it by her own. If someone else would make her understand then she wouldn't be able to work out her relation with her husband. Kisi bhi Insaan ko samajhne ke liye ,uss Insaan ke andar jhaankna padhta hai. And I have full faith on prerna that she will pass in this test with flying colors
