BB kusumbukaaran. He noticed the boys were conspiring whom to make captain (Sherin) and when not to give up (to Madhu). So he blindfolded all of them to make it an erratic game.

Men and women are equal . This statement still existing in book only not in reality .. at least not in the Sm commenting community ..morality and justice works differently for men and women ..

Kavin said saavadichiduven to Kasturi and in earlier episode he said it to shakshi also ..but got away with it scratch free no one questioned him strongly inside and outside ..

Mugin shouted at Meera.broke the cot all he got is a hero image in public ..

Sandy can make fun of anyone , flirt with sherin in the guise of humour and degrade any respectable person but have the luxury of escaping from the criticism in the name of comedy..

Do the girls have the same liberty of escaping from their mistakes or wrong doings? Would madhu be spared by the Sm bullying crowd if she said the same word to kavin? Or even losliya if she is alone can she escape from walking away from an argument as if the guys are doing in second promo ..?

When mugin broke the furniture abhi was the one who has been blamed that she was the one triggered him nu . and some people even said instead of bed he should have broken her face ..in what era we r living ..? here we r commenting on madhu’s regressive thoughts but the mindset of people out there in public is in Stone Age.

Why certain mistakes done by men always seemed as a pride and brings glory to them and if the women do the same they are labeled as arrogant , rude ,bad character etc..

( I don’t know why I am poring all these things here .. but I need a drain to empty my frustrations)

Stop using different scale for men and women to measure their good and wrong deeds..

( if you guys have difference of opinion or want to enlighten me something .. pls feel free to tell me.. I would like to hear you out)

A very good post ma.👏👏👌👌

Agreed in all the points..Adding on to you, we may say we are in 2020s, civilised n cultured..but its all only bookish kind..men being physically stronger, most of them resort to physical violence inclusive of verbal abuse at the end of any argument which they cannot win..like kavins case.. But there are few, a little sect of them really treating women as their equals..the real credit of that goes to the kind of "upbringing" at their home.. And at the other side there are few women who opt to false allegations n sexual accusations and they stoop to any low to own the thing they desire....anyways..we are in a patriarchal society and cant escape from its clutches..

👏great post. I always had these thoughts. But unable to put them in words.

It happens in bb house and it happens in many houses outside bb. But what worries me is the reception it has on sm. Particularly as someone mentioned among the 20's kids.

I think this is what Madhu wanted to convey. But took it up badly.

She is another example of regressive society, that is different story.

Typically when someone like a HM, it is more or less they like them because they can relate to what person is doing for most part. Same goes with dislike itself and sometimes it is so funny that audience itself might have the same shade of character, may be in little lighter tone than HM itself.

For example, I wasn't impressed with losliya for so many weeks. She has been supported so much when she did nothing and when started to open up I started liking her, but her own loyal fans itself don't like her now and call her arrogant. That tells what kind of character I like and what I can relate to.

Incidents you mentioned (most of them) are condemnable and it was condemned in SM as well. But sometimes when we don't see the kind of impact we want to see for a particular incident, we get disappointed. SM belongs to both men and women, not just for men alone. Some of the incident discussing without putting context into picture and discussing may not give enough justice.

I personally don't prefer genralization, but one thing is for sure - male chauvinism does exist - more outside.

If by chance you are relating to madhu's aan adimaithanam, I would happily disagree with you.

Respect your opinion. Just one thing about the bold point. Male chauvinism is exhibited by women as well.

Recently when we were discussing Saravanan's eviction at my workplace during break, women too (who had bad experiences in bus travel) were supporting him like that happened long ago, he asked sorry. Sadly, that is how the society has conditioned us (both men and women)
