I believe we come from different understanding while watching this show as a medical drama. I am used to watch many medical dramas where characters leave a hard imprint on mind with the realistic portrayal. This genre is sensitive from every aspect. Indians have made a good medical drama- Roshni- ek nayi ummeed was a proof of it.
And since most come from non-medical background, it becomes all the more important for the makers to either skip the technical know-how or show it responsibly in few scenes they show. Medical dramas are not just about entertainment, they are also about the practical stuff of this field.
The realistic stuff of this genre should trump the unrealistic stuff even with the disclaimer they put in the beginning. That wouldn't turn the show into a documentary but instead make it realistic to feel the genre.
