Here's what I think - I don't think Johar likes her having a youtube channel or doing randoms songs like this. He knows she's exhausting the audience and overexposing herself. But Alia is not being paid well by Dharma. Varun also confirmed it in an interview that Alia gets paid peanuts.

So my guess is that Aloo wants another income source without having to sacrifice KJO and moving to another production house. If she did that, he would stop being her godfather and helping her get any movie she wants. She can't handle a loss like that but she also must be sick of not having enough money to live the lifestyle other A-listers live.

In her mind, she found a brilliant compromise. She can make her coins with her dumb youtube channel and song videos or whatever else she makes while getting to remain the queen of Dharma. However, reality doesn't work out all the time like your fantasies.

^ She makes most of her money from endorsements anyway. I don’t think her movie income is affecting her life style at all. But I do agree that KJo probably didn’t like the YouTube channel idea or at least doesn’t seem to now.

Huh? Song acche aur bure hone ka sawaal toh badh mein aata hain but copyright dictates only the music company can upload the song its registered to. Alia is neither the artist or owner of the company,she's just dancing in it so she can't make money off its views on her channel. Intellectual property rights.

Doesn't she do a hundred tvcs to earn money? And brand endorsements have always been BW stars' main income. SRK used to work in YRF films for peanuts and used to earn money from endorsements and stage performances. So Kjo payingnher peanuts is not an issue for Aloo, or other stars who choose to work with elite banners.

Soon Alia will have more number of views/likes on Youtube than the actual population of the world, as of today.

And wouldn't her friends have shared this video out of free will? Why her friends did not share or promote the video? Sar pe gun tha issi liye free will mar gayi.

Hain? Why did Taylor, Zayn, and the music label upload the 50 Shades song on their respective channel if the copyright thing was so strict? Dharma used to upload their own songs on their YT channels even though the song is also on the music label's channel.
