By calling Sartaj Singh nana, Minnie did 2 things:

  1. Cemented her relationship with her father even further (since that's what his daughter would call his FIL)
  2. Cemented her relationship with Imarti, first through HS and then through his FIL. I don't know how to explain it but Minnie has given Imarti a special place in her heart because of her love for HS.

I had compared Imarti and Babita as fire and earth.

Babita is that earth for HS that has (or will have) immense capacity to absorb everything, including his pain. Contrary to what he thinks she's not naive (well she is, but only to an extent). She has what it takes to handle the fire in him but it will take time and they have to let each other.

I also think he needs to stop being over-protective about Babita, because in a way he is smothering her wishes just as he felt he had smothered Imarti with his love.

HS is wrong to assume that Babes can't handle him. I mean, how will he know for sure without giving her a chance to find out?

Look at the Khuranas for example. They've known Babita a lot longer than HS and they too believed that she wouldn't have survived everything Ashok put her through. And look at where she is now. There are a lot of things that Babes was naive or ignorant about whether it was familial relationships, spousal expectations, or even larger worldwide things like working in male dominant environments, dealing with sexist people etc.

We won't know what she's capable of handling unless she's actually exposed to the problems / matters at hand. It's the same thing with HS. The way Imarti's death / case came to surface was not ideal. It was explosive, out of the blue, and totally shocking. If he had told her calmly and with the utmost trust, then her reaction would have been different.

That's what I'm saying. He is being over-protective about Babita and even babying her to a certain extent by trying to keep her away from trouble. She's a grown up who needs to decide for herself what to get involved with and what not to. He can't keep trying to shield her all the time because that's what's making her think he's pushing her behind the boundary line.

I have no idea. The only thing I can think of is that he has now begun to fear that his capacity to love is so much that he ends up taking their life.

Aww after so long I felt like hugging Babita..she was annoying me in past few episodes..Aaj her conversation with Minnie was so ❤️..yes HS needs to apologize for he pulled wrong string in that beautiful relationship between them. And Minnie was so right About HS understanding her so well. As I mentioned HS was wrong in deciding for her where they would be taking this relationship further.. whatever his reasons were..if he thought that he was unworthy ..or he didn't want to trouble them... He decided for both to move back..and for a relationship which was built on trust , empathy and friendship first got ruined with his words on that..

It was her first desire to be with a man.. in past she was forced in a relationship and had to accept her husband. With those baby steps she finally acknowledged her feelings and gave them some dreams.. HS needs to revive those dreams again.. and yes he needs to stop being over protective about her..
