I really don't like to talk about that.. I haven't watched most of her earlier films.. It's beyond my understanding of how directors/producers approved those films like MPKD... 😆

Anyway, I find her so natural onscreen... Yes, it's sad she didn't do good roles often... She looked so natural and subtle in Talaash... Amir looked stiff look on his face whole time... Kareena brightened the screen imho.. She was effortless in Chameli too which is one of her earlier films..

Tabu is the only ones I can think of right now, the legendary actresses like Madhuri and Sridevi aren't exactly natural actresses. They perform brilliant because the choice of roles and scripts are good for them but if you watch there flop and bad movies you'll notice their weaknesses. Vidya was awful in movies like Kismat connection and Hey baby, so I wouldn't call her natural either

Even a brilliant actor like Aamir used to be bad when he started off because he did alot of crap movies after giving a blockbuster debut film. In Mela, he was just awful he only started to get really good in the mid to late 90's because he chooses some very good scripts and roles like Rangeela, Raja Hindustani & Andaz Apna Apna.....

SRK was alot better in his earlier days than he is now I love him in his 90's to early 2000's movies....he's just bad these days the intensity in this performance is missing big time

Shabana Azmi ... dun like her offscreen but man if someone really close to smita patil its her only, she has a great command in theater which reflect in her performances in films, its so effortless...u don't feel like she's acting like our modern actresses do.

watch her film saaz its one of her most underrated and brilliant films. While being an art cinema, it's also entertaining and humorous in parts
