So it wasn't likeable on that front obviously. But the cast especially the senior ones are great I loved the aura of Dr Shashank. But the two leads SC and NK were ott barring a few moments. But I would surely give them some time before I say goodbye to this as well 🤣

Arshi I liked the way you listed out the points and I love reading your post always and I hope you know that 😊 nice to meet you here as well🤗

I loved the senior cast of Sashank-Anjali- Rohit. Even Juhi looks promising on that front. They correctly get those nuances about the field & the body language of doctors & management people. The subtlety is on point with these 4 characters.

But the younger cast disappoints with their immaturity, especially when they are residents. Even with their inexperience, the young residents are professional & behave maturely.

The glamour in the medical world comes from that aura & knowledge & their ability to treat most difficult cases with their experience & not from fancy clothes, makeup or hairstyle. Real doctors are beautiful & handsome in their own way, but it comes naturally to them. Most of the times, they have these dark circles with sleep deprived eyes, yet work perfectly because that's what the profession demands. I don't understand Indian makers obsession with not wanting to show characters in their natural form as it would be in reality.

And thank you for liking my posts. 😊😊

I have a habit of analysing shows & characters. And as a neutral viewer most of the times, Indian shows, no matter how great the starting, have a history of disappointing. Even I will have to see for how long can I take this one before it goes off the track. 😂

Anyone who has doctor friends/family or have seen doctors working would know how this show sucks at that front, especially the junior cast. Senior cast still manages to pass on that front.

Yes you're right the first scene is inspired by Good doctor's first episode. Overall i am enjoying this show. Ishani and Sid both are good.

The wardrobe for the junior cast isn t allowed in the hospital at all. It looks so out of character when I see them. Regarding them showing that jugaad through the upcoming actress I don't know what to say about that. I guess in your post only you asked whether something happens in corporate hospitals? No as far as I'm aware it's not true. Dr Vardaan saying that if the pt and family aren't capable of paying the bills they can be shifted to another hospital after stabilising is true it happens and the family is given option to shift but still we can't force them nor we can with old the treatment on financial grounds. So let's see how long though.

I started watching for MB and seriously I'm disappointed with the junior leads.

I agree that hospital gives choice to the patient & treatment can't be stopped in midway but in cases like this, the surgery is shown in CSR records which every private orgnaization has to manage. What Sid did right there was strictly against medical ethics- suggesting random surgeries to his rich patient just for money. It was wrong on multiple grounds because with that they are trying to justify such malpractices in a certain way & last thing we need is such portrayal of doctors. They already have enough bad reputation in this country thanks to media highlighting such negatives every now & then.

I like the senior cast and I think junior cast will disappoint as much as senior cast will impress in upcoming episodes.

One can shut the brain off only to some extent but a medical drama should do justice to the genre & focus less on drama. For people, who have watched medical shows from different parts of the world, such portrayal becomes difficult. If medical struggles are portrayed correctly, the love story part will come very naturally between the characters without working explicitly for it.

But it's an Indian show who are shit scared of intellectual shows because they think audience won't watch it & that's why resort to such drama. They keep on ruining things because of this.

@bold- bang on, couldn't agree more 👍🏼here creativity will always compromise for commerce, as GEC is ruled & judged by tutelage of TRP, no dice, well meaning ideas at core end up flirting with revelance instead of committing with sincerity because intellectual authenticity generally ceases "TRP wala entertainment ",where high on exaggerated emotional quotient sells ..simple, demand and supply, whatever keeps number rolling at TRP charts, after intial episodes most of the shows start wavering fitting out & furnishing, the decrees 😃

Medical drama on this platform- ITV, loosely means typical wholesome entertaining drama ( for larger audience base, including deeper interiors) within hospital premises 😆

PS: every second person in my family is a Doctor 😃

It really pains to watch a medical drama with such inaccuracies & blunders when you have witnessed doctors your entire life. Medical life of young doctors is anything but this glamorous as they show on Indian TV where they get to fight & date so much.
