Separation is necessary for Arshi. Only after they are separated they will realise the value of each other and their relation and mainly it is necessary for khushi . It's important for her to know the real Arnav which is hidden beneath. Yes, Arnav will be alone and heartbroken but he will become a man whom his mother and khushi will be proud of.
