For the first time he took out Imarti's picture and put it on the wall because he was heartbroken by what Babita did. He thought he has only Imarti by his side.
Completely agree. I felt so bad for him when he hung the picture. It was as if he was grasping for a lifesaver as everything started to collapse around him. He didn't know at that moment that Minnie would stay back and support him - he thought this would be the last time he'd see mother-daughter. I also think the accusing look Babita gave him as he picked up the papers broke him to an extent and he retaliated by taking out Imarti's picture to hurt her and show her "her place" - they hadn't spoken to each other since their fight, which had ended with Imarti's name being used.
• Disrespectful words and culpable homicide are two different extremes I suppose. Babita made the excuse of the case and she said she believed he committed a crime because she wanted to escape from him, because she was rejected by a man for the second time.
• Can I put forward a question asking that is Babita the only one getting rejected for the second time? Well if we think about it, this time even Hanuman got rejected by Babita and that too for the second time. The very reason he keeps putting emphasis on what Imarti means to him.
• In the whole process Babita has got hurt because of Hanuman but it is likewise for him. She did not speak a word about her feelings even he asked her about it. I feel like Babita saying that she believes he is a criminal and leaving the house served as the last nail in the coffin. He is hurting even more and so I say he can take all his time and space to keep thinking about Imarti.
She has rejected him a few times actually. One, when she returned the money. Two when she ran to her room after the pot was made, shut the door on his face, and then later on when she stopped at the stairs and stepped back as he took steps towards her. Three, of course when she chose to think he was guilty of killing Imarti and didn't question him, but decided to leave the haveli with their daughter.
The whole twist is a little more dramatic for the subtle style of the show. Maybe for TRP's but they are not overdoing it. Hanuman is in extreme pain and guilt but he is managing to keeping it to himself. I just hope that the writers and creators have strong content to back up and make up for everything that has happened this week.
Yes, glad they are not overdoing it. But if you remember the divorce case and all the events leading to it were also quite dramatic. I think this is a shock factor that everyone needs in order to wake up, resolve their issues and move on.
