I know Jabariya Jodi is touted to be a flop at the box office but I watched it and the saving grace was Siddharth and Parineeti's acting. They are both good, and though the performances are not effortless, they are not as bad as some others who get away with it.

People on the forum are busy criticizing them but they are not nepo kids and they are trying hard. In this film, they are far far better than Tiger Shroff, Jhanvi, Ananya, and some others who are hyped like no-one's business. Anyway, I wish Siddharth and Parineeti continue to get good films...they deserve it.

oh please

enough with this poor outsider tag

they both enjoy almost as much priviledge as insiders

sid despite 5 flops in a row still gets lead roles in A list movies pretty much like insider arjun

and parineeti is not an outsider please..she was the sister of BW's bonafide A list superstar priyanka chopra..if you or any one really wants to cook up naive stories that this had no influence in her getting movies..i would say..continue living in your bubble..

they have been given more than enough chances esp parineeti who has even forgotten how to act thanks to her "filmy acting" nonsense..also all the weight loss she blabbers non stop..she has gained it all back..

Ranbir and Varun gets trashed for a single flop but sid is allowed to give flop after flop since he is an outsider

I haven't watched it and nor do I intend to. I never liked Pari or Sid to begin with. I always thought of her to be overrated but then I watched Ishaqzaade, she did Justice to her role and she was equally good in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. I haven't watched many of her movies but I started liking her as actor mostly because I find her better than some nepo kids that are around, who are hogging limelight for no apparent reasons. As for Sid, I know he is trying hard but I don't find him a good actor. He was bland in SOTY and Brothers. The only other movie I watched of him is Kapoor and sons but he was majorly overshadowed by Fawad and rightly so. I know both of them are trying but inspite of such huge backing (YRF for Pari n Dharma for Sid) they've failed.

The issue is not so much them being outsiders or insiders, but their acting. Both of them are decent actors. No-where in the film do you feel they are hamming like Tiger does in his films or Arjun does in his films.

People on this forum are mean to these three- Siddharth, Parineeti and Sonakshi - but I feel this is not deserved. They are good actors.

First of all, it is not a flop. It is a disaster.

Both the leads are beyond pathetic.

No they don’t. You really think Ekta would have delayed their movie four days before it’s release if their parents were Bollywood personalities? This was a low budget movie and it actually had some hype before the delay. It more than likely would have earned more in its first weekend and by the end of its second week it would have earned enough not to be a flop. Anything not a flop for some are called successes so there we go, Sid and Parineeti would have had a success.

If Sid keeps getting offers after so called five flops probably because A) Itefaaq wasn’t a flop and B) because people also realize that riots and delays do affect your movies. Also while there are always a critic or two who doesn’t like his acting with each movie he’s getting more and more praise for his work. There seems to be this wave of negativity at both Sid and Parineeti after this one that for instance Arjun didn’t experience after Wanted and Namaste England or Sonakshi after Khandani. And that is because they don’t have a support system within Bollywood that Arjun and Sonakshi have.

Sid is anyday a better actor than some very popular star kids....Look at Tiger....without knowing A of acting he is one of the top stars today only because he is cashing on his martial arts and flying skills and not experimenting. Sid should stop experimenting and should find one genre he is best at. Maybe he should try out & out action films like Tiger to stay relevant. Also look at kartik. He did punchnama movies for 8 years and whenever he tried to experiment he fell flat on his face. Now he too has find his niche which is mindless rom coms with good music. It's very difficult to break "non-actor" or "wooden-actor" image so experimenting and trying to prove he is a good actor isn't gonna help.

LOL

this movie would have made the same whether a week before..2 before..or released on diwali..eid whatever..flop actors and flop trailers do not open a movie well..namastay england released on dushera and it opened at 1.5cr

secondly..ittefaq is listed as a flop..check BOI..i dunno what weed people smoke here when facts are pretty easy to verify..and if you don't buy BOI verdicts..i am definitely not buying yours either..or your logic behind it not flopping..i see facts mentioned by proper trading sites

thirdly every flop actor experiences negativity..arjun does..so does sonakshi..it is just they have reached such a low where people are not even bothered to write anything at all for them..i mean parineeti despite being a flop actress is still landing much better roles than sonakshi who is mostly playing side kicks or starring in B grade movies as a lead..
