This is about her ego and wounded pride, which she again confused with self-respect. He tried to strip her of her dignity and she tried to take his daughter away from him.

Also, loved that the more HS pushed Minnie away the closer she went to him. I loved her today!

It pierced his heart when Babita said she would take Minnie away, even though HS had said all that just to achieve this outcome.
