Chunky Panday transforms for the role of Devraj in Saaho

Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas starrer Prabhas is one of the highly anticipated releases this year. The high budget action thriller has been making noise for all the right reasons and recently, the makers launched Saaho The Game, as a part of the film’s promotions.

The latest buzz about the Sujeet directorial is the addition of Chunky Pandey to the film’s cast. The actor plays a negative character named Devraj in the film. The first poster of the upcoming action flick featuring Chunky Panday is out and shows the 56-year-old actor in a badass avatar.

With a cigar in his hand and military cut styled hair, Chunky Pandey makes up for the perfect villain in the poster. The first look has delighted all the fans along with the actor’s daughter Ananya.

Sujeeth shared Chunky’s character poster on Instagram and captioned it as, “With his ominous looks & steadfast gaze; here comes the new character poster of #Devraj ft @chunkypanday to give you some major chills!”

Ananya was quick to share the poster and appreciate her father’s look from the film. She shared the poster on her Instagram story and captioned it as “OG” along with a lion emoji.

In an interview with Indian Express, Chunky spilled some beans about his character and future projects. He said, “They (Makers of Saaho) are not publicising me much, but I will be deadlier in it than I was in Begum Jaan. After that I have Housefull 4 releasing on Diwali. So, I would say the wait has been worth it. I am also doing a Marathi movie. It is directed by Sameer Patil, the director who made Poshter Boyz (2014). This is being produced by Riteish Deshmukh’s production house. It is called Bhangaar Wala. Then I am doing Prasthanam with Sanjay Dutt and that should be coming in September sometime. So, this year is going to be filled with film releases for me.”

The Shraddha-Prabhas starrer is slated to release on August 30, 2019.
