PRALAY : THE BEGINNING 🌋

This recap I dedicate to the cast and crew of Nazar who for the past 1 year have tirelessly worked to make Nazar the success it is today. Congratulations guys for turning 1 Year’s old 🥳

Note : This a recap of only the yudh scenes for regular wu’s refer to Nushy’s

To go to war or not ?? The time for that question has passed. Pralay has begun ! The only question remains is whether our band of heroes are ready or not ?

Thursday' Episode : DAAVANSH to the Rescue

The Beginning :

Episode begins from where we left off yesterday. Divya dying in Piya’s arms but not before handing over the pralay sword to a reluctant Piya. As she does so lightning sparks emerge from a distant point and gather into the sword. The signal has been given Pralay has begun !!! Divya breathes her last and Piya can only wail, ‘Ma’ she cries. Ansh regains consciousness just in time to catch that heartbreaking scene🥺. ( Ansh doesn’t look fully recovered as yet).

As Pralay begins the storm clouds intensify bathing everything in a red haze. It looks as if the very sky is on fire. The scene is set for the destruction to come.

The Revavanshi’s barely have time to mourn when Nishant spies a ferocious cyclone 🌪coming their way. He urges his gudiya to leave as it’s dangerous to stay a minute longer. Piya however wants to stay & finish the war that has begun. Nishant still in denial thinks the choice is theirs whether we want war or not ! So saying he grabs the sword from her & thrusts it into the ground.

Not so elsewhere Mo stands triumphantly smirking at the red moon fresh streaks of blood falling from it. (Gotta say i love the appropriately spooky atmosphere ) From behind her Dola joins her (what no Ah-Ha) so do the Chalayans 🧝‍♀️ & the VM’s🧟‍♂️ Nishant urges them to leave when the earth cracks and the ground begins to shake. The wind continue to howl to a deafening volume.

Dilman’s Dilemma :

Elsewhere under that same red sky Dil & Naman face off each other the mani now in a box between them. They see from a distance lighting ⚡️ streak up to the sky from the ground. “The war bugle has been played ” Naman informs Dil “& with that Pralay has begun. In this war i will play an important role because i have the Trikone Mani.“Dil agrees whoever possesses TM can end the war & only that side will live. “That means if i take it Revavanshi’s will win but i will lose you !”Naman realises. Dil solemnly agrees with her patidevji that if she takes it KS will win but she will lose him forever. Both of them don’t like that idea. Naman finally asks “What do we do ? “Dil looks at the Mani.

Mo’s Army has arrived !! :

We then join Ni & co struggling to stay standing under the earthquake. To their horror they see a huge army of Vm’s & Ch’s approaching with Dola at the front. From behind Mo sashays forward to her signature tune smirking ( catwalk in the midst of a battlefield bwahaha 😂🤣) “Ready for War Rivavanshi’s ?” Mo sweetly calls looking confidently at her army.

Ni realises it’s too late to turn back now they have to fight !! Piya disagrees she doesn’t want to fight. “Why don’t you say clearly that you’re afraid seeing my army !” Mo taunts ( Oo Burn ) Her raucous laughter echoes around. “ A Daivik afraid of a Dayan !! “ Mo mocks “but just because you gave up before fighting Daivik don’t think i will spare you all ! KS will win & you all will die” Hearing this Piya is afraid. ( Piya & Ved u ought to take a leaf from Mo. She maybe bull sh_ _ing but atleast she puts up a good bluff. 😏Mo you’re going to eat your own words tommorow 😂🤣)

Roused by Mo’s taunting Ni & Sa take position bow & arrow 🏹ready. They are ready to fight Mortal Kombat style 🤛👨‍🎤Okay to the tune of ‘Tu Vaar Kar’ ( 🙄 well I imagined Mortal Kombat in this) Sa urges Pi to pick up the sword & fight but Pi isn’t ready. Spotting Vedansh Mo gives them the option to save their lives by switching sides. “ These three won’t last long “ Mo scoffs. “ Not three” Ansh declares “ but five” Vedansh stand tall with the Rivanshi’s. Hearing this everyone’s morale is bolstered !

Mo suddenly looks afraid 🙀 “ No Ansh if u leave us then how will we compete with them.” So saying she laughs ( And this is why Divya was needed, for the firing salvo 😉 ) “Oh well prepare to die with them then” Mo shrugs nonchalantly.

Finally ! The Battle begins :

“Attack !” Mo shouts. The Vm’s 🧟‍♂️& Ch’s 🧝‍♀️move forward Ni tells Ansh that they will handle them. So saying Ni grabs the sword & puts it behind. Ni & Sa steadily fire arrows . Alas ! the Chalayans catch them. Undeterred Ni&Sa continue firing. It strikes the Vm’s but the majority are caught by the Ch’s and the Vm’s move forward. They keep fighting until they are surrounded by them. Uh-oh now what ?? 😲😲

Saavi falls down Ni throws off the Vm’s around her. More Vm’s 🧟‍♂️come forward. Seeing all of this Piya asks Ansh now what do we do ? You just take care of Ma I will see to them 😡Ni & Sa are stabbed with their own arrows.

It’s action time 😈Ansh runs forward opening up his wings he flies upto the mountain. Ni & Sa take out their arrows ( 🤕ouch that’s got to hurt) and continue fighting ! Piya moves in front of Ved. Ansh smashes his fist 👊into the mountain and pulverises the Vm’s down below surrounding Ni&Sa with the broken mountain rocks. Mo is mighty pissed.

‘Jai ho Maiyya ki’ Summoning her powers Piya fights off the Ch & Vms surrounding them. Mo & Dola climb up the mountain on opposite sides of Ansh to stop him. Mo orders the Vm & Ch’s to attack Ni&Sa With their chotis they chain him mid air.

Piya tells Ved to hide behind the rocks. Ved reluctantly does so. Pg throws her chillars at Piya. Ved gasps out a warning. Ansh seeing his wife in danger breaks free and takes the brunt of the attacks before it even reaches Piya. (Isn’t he a sweetheart🤗). In unbearable pain his wings disappear he turns to face Panna only to collapse. Piya screams Ansh !!

Writhing on the floor in immense pain Ansh urges Piya to fight in the war. Piya doesn’t want to because War would mean losses. “If we don’t then Evil will win and we can’t allow that.” So saying he falls unconscious. Piya cries in despair.

Ved goes to Ansh only to find Mo in her path. Time for Mo vs Chutki fight 😏

Sibling rivalry, Namanisms & Piya’s decision :

In the meantime Dilman arrive on the scene.. On seeing all the fighting Naman observes “Are baap re baap yeh toh Angio wala scene hai !! “ 😆 ( I think he meant Ang lee ) Dil is all What !! Nothing missusji you won’t understand we’re talking about an angreezi film. Dil goes Oh 😶( So cute 🥰 both of them are annadi’s 🤣)

Naman don’t ever change. 👍🏼 Both charge ahead to rescue Ni&Sa and deliver the TM.

Mo meantime has come to rub it in chutki’s face. Mo pities Ved. Her weak heart wont be able to bear all this bloodshed then how will she face Pi ansh’s death. Ved is frightened ( 🙄too easy like snatching candy from a baby) Mo thanks Ved for killing Divya. Ved refutes it Divya stabbed herself. And that means Revavanshi’s made the first strike with the PT. Ergo they will win the war.

But Talwar was in your hands chutki a Dayanvanshi (luv this part) so first strike was by a Dayanvanshi ! Ved refutes it this war will be won by the good. Mo is sceptical seeing how Rivavanshi’s are outnumbered.

At this very moment Ni & Sa are outnumbered by the Vm’s, their arrows are depleted. Panna observes Ansh’s collapse and Piya crying beside him. Ansh’s last words echoing in her mind Piya snaps. She’s had enough ! Our sherni has awakened and she is here to teach them a lesson.

Like an avenging angel she rises. “You all want war don’t you “ she screams 😡 “then lets have war !! “

My Thoughts:

When i first heard there’s going to be a war sequence vaguely there was a thought going on in my mind that it’d either be on a battlefield field with armies on both sides or a Guerilla warfare type war. Where each episode some KS would come to Rathore house & everyone would fight. It would go on for a month. I wasn’t expecting this nor that it would be so short. But that doesn’t mean i was disappointed. The story was exciting... It was fast paced as usual. I liked the spooky atmosphere they created for pralay. That made it more exciting.

Everything was well planned out, the fight sequences were well choreographed. Special nod the guys in the VFX dept. They pulled out all the stops in this one.

The VFX was amazing. Everyone in the cast not just the leads had a role to play in the war.

In the space of half an hour they managed to show everything & everyone without it feeling jam packed or rushed. Hats off to those guys. It’s a daily soap plus the budget constraints. It’s no mean feat doing that. They did complete justice to the War !!

Minor quibble i wish Dola had a more active role to play she didn’t even get to say Ah-ha. Dilman i love they came together in the end. Dil truly has changed & Naman he was amusing as usual.

Overall the episode was damn good !! My vote i give it 9 1/2 on 10

That scene where Naman makes an entrance with dil & he makes an English film reference. Did you know what he was talking about. You have sharp eyes.

I thought he was making a reference to Ang lee but i couldn't be sure.

That scene... Well he said," yahan par to end game wala scene chal raha hai." Sorry don't remember the exact words but he was making a reference to Avengers Endgame.
