Telangana always wanted to split and in 60s or something there was a big agitation. But successive governments ignored. Their main issues were:
1) Their language customs and traditions were always mocked
2) Telangana other than Hyd was always ignored for all growth and devpt schemes
3) Even within Hyd it’s more of Andhra business men, actors everyone who were successful and Telangana ppl were ignored
And of course parties like TRS saw it as a golden opportunity to flourish.
But even I have seen the language used to me mocked all the time in general and in movies as well... used for comedy etc...
So it was a lot of emotion and some degree of manipulation
They think they talk pure Telugu. But, they too make it funny using aay. And they are overtly polite and slow while speaking. I get so bored and annoyed.
I had an Andhra friend in college. The first thing she asked us was how many crores do you have and what caste you are. Not all of them are like her but she was quite an entertaining person and kind of childish. Now, she is doing MBA in IIT. Her father most probably bought her a seat.
All of the directors are from Andhra except for Sandeep Reddy vanga . As expected humara launda is rude. In actors its just Nithiin and Vijay Devarokonda. Hope our laundas infiltrate the industry .
I do think Andhra people are more passionate and they love art, music and theater . There is an Andhra family's house infront our house. They sing old songs every Sunday using mike . We had an honour of listening to their surili awaaj every Sunday. They usually sing old songs. So, I am not interested. My father takes immense pleasure in giggling to their enthusiasm though.
