Okay I haven't seen Mardaani so can't say.

As far as polling list is concerned this is what majority voted on that another thread.

And I would pick Alia UP perfomance over Raazi & DZ anyday. It's subjective

Vidya Balan in dirty picture.. A woman showing mass heroism, dekh kar acha laga.. I always have a tbibg for dialoguebaazi.. The dialogues of the movie was brilliantly written and Vidyas dialogue delivery was spot on.

I am sure there are a lot more worthy performances that are not mentioned in this list. For example, Swara Bhasker from Nil Battey Sannata.

From this list - Sridevi in English Vinglish, Kangana in Queen and Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture. So difficult to choose. If forced to pick, I'll probably choose Kangana.

But it's just not their performance that's making me choose. It is the story, the dialogues, the background music, the editing - among many things.

They may have delivered a better performance in a different film, but that film may have lacked in some of these other departments, which is why we can't find their brilliance.

Ofcourse who could forget her entertainment wala dialogue. She was superb in it.
